On a local recommend we hit this place with great anticipation. did not disappoint. hard to find parking is always a good sign but frustrating w/o reservations. Short wait at 6:45 - took longer to find parking. roast cod, fish tacos were great.

some of our favorite places are in "strip malls". this place does fish and seafood both very tasty and reasonable. This will be our "go to" place once we winter in lakewood ranch. we highly reccommend trying it.

This is a favorite spot for lunch. I usually order the 1/2 Lucky Pelican with Caesar and soup. Good deal for about $7. Friendly staff and good prices.

Have eaten here 30-40 plus times over the past few years and never disappointed. Staff is great and friendly, just have fun and talk with them. Used to be quiet until everyone else discovered it and now it is packed. Heard that the fishermen come here first and you get the freshest. Amber Jack, hogfish, cobia, mahi, grouper - the selection differs depending on what they got that day. If you have to wait, well then just be patient and wait. You won't be sorry. Very casual. Prices are so reasonable and the food is so much better than higher priced places. Odd for a fish place but their Rueben is to die for although they only serve it for lunch. As you may have guessed we are regulars here.

We were at Lakewood Ranch. Had planned on going to Pichar's Crab. Several people talked us out of it. Told us the best seafood in town was just around the corner at the Lucky Pelican. And boy were they right. The mussels were so fresh, and the fried oysters and shrimp were light and not greasy. What a find. I will be back!
