This is a wonderful place for children and adults alike. There are two buildings and open air tanks for the sea life. The Mote also has great programs and camps for families and individuals.

Well done exhibits on odd items like jelly fish, sea horses, sea cucumbers, frogs and turtles. Good hands on touch tanks for kids. Ray tank was interesting. Admission seemed way overpriced. There was enough to see and read about to keep you busy for at least two hours. The facility is clean and fairly handicapped accessible for most areas.

We visited the aquarium for the second Spring Break in a row.Very nice and clean place.A man who works there named Wendell was extremely sweet to my 7 year old by teaching her about Hermit crabs, seastars and other marine life. The people there love what they do!

A very engaging place - lots to see. The second exhibit room was the coolest because of one of the staff who was very informative about the creatures' behaviors. It wasn't merely a "look at the cool colorful fish" moment, but truly an educational experience. Loved the loggerhead turtle sisters who were being feed and trained by staff when we dropped by their pool. We all heeded the warning not to dangle our hands - those turtles bite:) Wish there was staff on hand to talk about the manatees when we checked out their tank. Overall, a nice aquarium if a little broken up (you have to cross the street to see the aquatic mammals).

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we visited this aquarium. Halfway through we both said it at the same time "this is better than the Florida Aquarium". Lots of very unique exhibits and very laid back. Volunteers were very knowledgeable and not too pushy. Lots of nice people here. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was well-worth the price of admission. The shark pool/tank was awesome. The only disappointment for me was that they only had one dolphin which seemed to have lots of issues. Stingray tank was fun. Definitely a place to bring the children.
