Very pleased with this small zoo. I was able to feed flamingos from my hand--I was surrounded. Also for a small fee, held an alligator, and a Burmese python. Lots of other things to see but those mentioned made my day. Did not want to leave the flamingos!

My bofriend and I went here while on a short stay in Sarasota. It was reasonably priced (and coupons are available) for what it offered. It is a smaller wildlife attraction, but the experience is definately worth it. You can buy flamingo feed and hand feed the birds yourself as they roam around, which is great for adults and supervised children alike! Some of the animals are so close as opposed to a zoo setting which makes it feel more intimate. The paths and grounds they offer are well maintained, allowing strollers and wheelchairs though. We even caught the reptile show, where they allowed everyone to touch some of the animals. Great staff, photo op, and experience all around.

Great size park with a lot of animals for kids to see and learn about. Feeding the flamingos was so much fun! We bought a large bag of feed when we paid to go in, wish we had bought 2. Kids got to hold a parrot, alligator and a skunk! Wonderful pictures. All four of our kids, ages 14-6 had a great time and want to go back.

Our daughter enjoyed the visit the most, especially the flamingos, the fish pond, the shows, and, most of all, the playground.
Overall, it is a very nice place for an afternoon or morning visit since it is not too big and overwhelming. The parking was not a problem at all and it was reasonably priced.
You can purchase snacks and ice-creams. Also, we found it to be great photo ops!

This is a small but enjoyable wildlike park.Reasonably priced, free parking and discount coupons are available. There are a variety of birds, reptiles and fish. Several shows including a trained bird show. The only negatives for us were the fact that some of the reptile exhibits were closed and that a parent allowed his children to talk loudly througout the entire informative talk by the employee showing the baby alligator and python.
