we visited area in offseason and it was a pretty busy area...would hate to have to find a parking space in season...but it worth going to...loved the shops and the restaurants...but the best was the ice cream places....

If you haven't been to St. Armands Circle, you haven't really shopped. Lots of different shops, from Jewelry, to art, to clothing. You cannot do it in one day, and grab a map so you can keep track of where you are. This place is designed like a bicycle wheel, with beautiful statues and parks for sitting, and spokes that are just one shop after the next. Beautiful scenery, flowers, and the Gulf just a walk away. Make sure you have lunch at Columbia for their signature salad and perhaps a Cocatini - the best drink ever...or a fresh Mojito. (You'll wish you could call me and thank me.)

Such a smart classy area to visit. Many many small shops, and plenty of eating places. A great place to visit, but you do need plenty of money in your wallet as things are not cheap but class is the word. A great place to visit for the experience. Also gets you to Lido beach, Longboat Key and Ringling Bridges from Land to the Key. Sunsets area great by the Ringling Bridge opposite Bird Key. Local bus service is also good if you do not have a car or want a change from driving. The homes in many of the areas are wonderful to view as you travel through Anne Marie Island.

Great restaurants, brilliant shops and neat galleries... but it's not cheap. Though, on the bright side, that means no overrunning of tacky tourist shops.

Great shopping and great food choices. The area is clean and laid out nicely. Only problem-no public restrooms other than the restaurants.
