So many neat things at Siesta Key Village from wonderful food stops to little gift shops. The beach is also one of the best in the world. This is such a great place to visit and spend a day. Parking is difficult, but once parked, you can just walk around everywhere.

Great bar and restaurant scene without pretention. Many solid food options, the Hub was really good.

I am a fan of new talent and in one small stretch you can enjoy many different performers.
Restaurants vary from beach casual, to fancy Italian, and a slice is also available.

When locals talk about Siesta Key Village, it is just "The Village." Low-key, fun, great places to eat and shop. It can be crazy busy during "season," - the traffic terrible, but we love the place for its real Florida beach appeal - not hoity-toity. You can find just about any kind of food and drink; most places great for kids, too. And of course, THE BEACH. I'm just glad we live here and can enjoy this area all year 'round!

When you get to Sarasota the chances are high that you're going for there beach. If not you're probably there on a business trip, and who really goes there for work ???
So, after a nice walk north down the beach why not tuck into this village area for a cup of coffee and a scone, or shoot the moon and enjoy breakfast or even lunch at one of the many places just off the beach. This is much smarter than wasting money on a hotdog there at the concession stand associated to this beach, one of the top rated beaches in the USofA.
April 14th weekend the Siesta Key Village celebrates their annual Art Festival, yet another reason to check them out.
So, put your shirt back ou and wander on down, you'll certainly find something worth your time there.
Enjoy, Salida1048
