“Awesome!!!”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

This was our 1st time visiting Siesta Key. This hotel was perfect. We stayed in the tower building room T1104. I would recommend this room. The view is amazing. This unit was recently updated. This room was stocked full with everything you could possibly need, from a blender to a garlic press! Very clean and comfortable. The pools were very clean. The elevators were lightning fast. So, being 11 floors up was no big deal! The beach is AMAZING. I can't say enough about the area and this property. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. I would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Its a little tricky figuring out where the rooms are situated in these buildings when booking. The...

We will be making our fourth visit to this property in May. Past visits were May, 2012 & 2013, October 2013. An example of the quality of this property, dishwasher went out and would not work. We reported it and within a half hour, three people from housekeeping were there in our unit hand washed, dried and put away a full a full load of dishes. The next day, the dishwasher was replaced with a new unit. It seems, the previous clients used the dishwasher to clean sea shells. Yes, morons can afford to rent nice properties. The grounds are immaculate, the staff very polite and friendly, convenient to so many nice dining sights you needn't leave the key. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else on Siesta Key. The beach is great and the sunsets are better nowhere. Wish I could head there tonight.

Room Tip: I suggest you get a condo that does not have carpeting. Have stayed in W & Tower Buildings.

Loved this property! We rented a 2 bedroom unit in Y building, unit 101. It was great being on the ground floor. Convenient to pool and beach. The unit was well furnished with lots of extras. There is an ocean view from the lanai and the master bedroom. There were plenty of towels, linens and pool toys. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, including basic condiments, paper products and cleaning supplies. The grounds are well kept, the pools were heated and the grilling area was clean. We rented beach cabanas and bikes from a local vendor. Hope to come back next year.

Stayed at SSRC about a year ago and loved our unit, very clean and updated. We usually stay on Anna Maria but thought we would come back to Siesta for a change. This time we thought we would try a different unit with a little better view so after looking through pics, we chose T902. There were 6 of us, my hubby, 2 children and my parents. We arrived and checkin was fine, definitely not as friendly as last year but I figured they were having a bad day so I overlooked it.
We walked in our condo and saw right away it had a beautiful view so we were excited. But as my children ran excitedly to each room, I noticed the bottom of their feet getting very dirty. I then went into the kitchen and it looked good, fridge was clean inside and out and countertops were wiped down. But the two bathrooms were a different story. There was mold on the outside of the shower down by the floor and shower door as well as hair in many places throughout the bathrooms. I called down to the front office to ask if I could have some cleaning supplies to just clean it myself and the woman at front desk assured me someone would be up to reclean. We waited an hour, who wants to do that when arriving for a beach vacation?! We needed to go to the grocery so we left thinking they would come in and clean while we were gone. Returned an hour and a half later and no one had cleaned and the office had closed so thankfully we had bought some bleach cleaner and cleaned the bathrooms and floors ourselves. For over $200 a night, I expect a spotless unit and not have to clean myself. Needless to say, we were disappointed.
The property itself is beautiful and the pools were clean and beach wonderful. We come over to The Gulf coast and mostly Anna Maria every 6-8 weeks since it's only a 3 and a half hour drive. We are willing to try SSRC again and hope to have a better experience like our first stay but we are weary.

We are sorry that your second visit was disappointing. We appreciate your feedback about the cleanliness of the floors, bathroom and lack of communication between our staff to rectify this issues. We have discussed this with our staff to prevent these issues from occurring in the future. We are glad that you would consider vising our property again and hope that your next stay will be as pleasant as your first.

Our family of 4 (girls are 15 and 12) stayed in unit Tower 302 for close to a week between Christmas and New Years and couldn't have been happier. The entire area is conducive to relaxing, and the property itself is very nice kept and well manicured.

Check-in was so easy, and we did arrive after hours. Entire staff during our stay was very nice and helpful. We didn't play tennis, but the courts were very well kept also. All units in the beach buildings have a beach view, I believe, because of how the buildings are setting, kind of angled. The pools were fine, clean, although only the girls used them. Beach for me, all the way.

OMG, the beach. It's perfect. White sand, the kind where everyone just leaves their sandals at the steps by the sidewalk because the sand is never hot. Lots of beach chairs provided by the resort, but lots of people too, so good to get your chair earlier in the day. But it's a nice wide beach, so we didn't feel crowded. Huge grills right on the beach that you can reserve, and people always did, so it was always smelling so good with charcoal and whatever was being cooked.

Beach/pool towels are not provided, so be sure to bring your own. Really fun to watch the parasailers that were always flying by also.

Our unit itself was ideal, very large, seating for 12 to eat counting the four at the breakfast bar, four in the dining room and at least four on the enclosed balcony. Nice leather furniture, huge bathrooms, every appliance/utensil you can imagine in the kitchen. No washers/dryers in the unit but a set on each floor. Not a big deal, but I like to have them in the unit. Plenty of parking, and it was almost 100 percent full.

We rented bikes also and rode them to the village and down to 7Eleven and Curt's, etc., bike lanes both ways but quite a bit of traffic on the beach road. We never felt in danger, though, great way to get around.

We CAN'T WAIT to go back to Sarasota Surf and Racquet and hope to haul a number of friends along with us, as it's a great place for families to get together. Couldn't have been happier with this resort.

Room Tip: Tower Building is directly beachfront, highly recommend.

Individually owned condos that are rented out on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Great location. Fantastic beach with chairs. Everything you would want. Y building is closest to the beach. Great service, good large clean condo with everything you could want available. The beach is amazing, so white, soft and clean, it is a wide and long so you can take a walk or just sit and relax. The pelicans are also fun to watch try to get fishes.
The only draw backs are that to get to your condo you have to go up elevators that are sadly slow and there is only enclosed balcony so you can't get outside while in your condo to enjoy the outside.
In all I would go back though, it certainly looked like the best one I saw on the beach.

Room Tip: W building room 403 was a great room, good views, clean well appointed, and very large.
