Smaller place and stays packed but this place is great! Food was awesome and service was wonderful. I will definitely go back to eat there when I visit Sarasota again.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Tiny little restaurant. We had a hard time finding it, but was delicious, and the staff was very personable! It was late, and my two year old was tired, but they kept bringing over toys to keep him entertained. They even brought him cheerios in a little bowl! Food was delicious. Definitely worth a try!

“Very good!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013 via mobile

This was our first time in this area and I came across this place on Trip advisor and we decided to give it a try. I must say, it was not what I was expecting when we got there, based on the reviews. It is quite a small reataurant, but that did not take away from the food! It was very good! There were 8 in our group and everyone enjoyed their food! They even gave us a free dessert sample since this was our first time there. The owner came out and talked to us a couple times and was very involved in helping wih service, etc..she was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place!!

“Gourmet Dogfood”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

We walked into the restaurant expecting all the great reviews to live up to expectations. We sat down got chips with excellent salsa. The owner was very nice and so was the waitress. But when it came food time I don't really know what happened. The nice restaurant turned into the Dog Shelter. Are burritos were filled with I guess what they call the best dog food in town. By far the worst Mexican food off all time but hey it could very well be the most gourmet dog food out there.

“Homemade!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

Homemade food is always a pleasant experience when the chef knows what they're doing. El Toro Bravo is a great place to go for Mexican cuisine. The stuffed sopapilla was unique and delicious. Their homemade salsa is to die for. Fair warning: they don't have a liquor license and do not serve margaritas. Some might think that strange for a Mexican joint but the food is worth it.
