“Delicious food, reasonable prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

This restaurant was very good. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a special of the day for only 7.50 which included a salad. I had a combination of a burrito, chicken taco and cheese enchilada. Included were rice and beans. People were very nice here. Food was tasty and good. I recommend visiting this place if interested in sampling tasty Mexican food in a nice calm environment.

“Que rico!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

This is the kind of Mexican restaurant I love. Small, authentic, good prices.....great salsa.
A lunch special for $7.95, other entrees $8 +. The only reason it didn't get a full score is that it doesn't serve chile rellenos, my favorite. But I had a great chimichanga.....so big I couldn't eat it all!

“Excellent Authentic Mexican Food served low priced”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

When I'm in Sarasota and I'm hungry for Lunch this is where you'll find me. These guys have been doing it for years and theyalways maintain quality and good food. This is not a chain so if your looking for americanized mexican go to Taco Bell or Tiajuna Flats. If your looking for real mexican this is the place. The Wet Burrito- all the way- with the salsa is the best. As a salsa pro I know the difference between Canned Salsa and Freshly Made Salsa. Its fresh here and you'll enjoy this speakeasy authentic mexican restuarant.

“Authentic”

You wouldn't know it by looking at it, but this is pretty good. Close to downtown and adequate parking behind the restaurant (it has a rear entrance). Daily specials.

“Great food, moderate prices and perfect service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2012

I eat at this restaurant every year when I visit Sarasota. It's quaint, very personalized, super food, moderate prices, and the staff and cooks are a delight. It's my favorite place to eat in Sarasota, especially because it's small and unique. Not your typical chain restaurant...thank goodness! A great neighborhood place with an extensive menu...mostly Mexican food, but other choices, as well. Try the seafood soup!
