We seriously go out our way to end up in Santa Rosa so we can enjoy Champagne Brunch at Fire. Yummy Food. Great Staff! On this occasion we brought guests and Fire exceeded our expectations .

“Fantastic Food”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

We had first class service and food. The decor is modern and well appointed. Our waitress was pleasant and was excited about our menu options. The food presentation was superb and the taste was superb. There was a mixture of colors and textures. We will return!

“Awesome Food”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

We also have been to Fire quite a few times and it is always wonderful. They now serve lunch, not just Sunday brunch and it is outstanding. We tried the Brisket Debris Poboy and the Soup D' Jour. The Poboy was the best anywhere in the Florida Panhandle. Perfectly shredded brisket perfectly saesoned (I always have to add salt and pepper) with the proper amount of juice to make it extra soft on that wonderful Poboy bread, I bet from Leidenheimer or comparable. The pickles on the Poboy were between a bread and butter and dill that melded the tastes to perfection.

Now for the soup D' Jour. Oh my goodness, it was filled with goodness and called Roasted Vegetable Parmesan Minestrone. Probably the best soup I have had in quite some time. The vegetables, a mix of carrots, zucchini, and maybe a little squash was to die for. They had the right crunch, not too hard and not too soft. The tomato base joined with the Parmesan cheese to give it a bolognese taste of sorts.

A few weeks ago we had their Ground Short Rib & Brisket Burger and it is by far the best on Hwy 30A. There is nothing like fresh ground beef for your burger. The burger bun was great, not too big and not small. It handled the burger with all the condiments without falling apart. And the burger had no mystery ingredients to make it like eating meatloaf. It was lightly pattied to keep its light, moist, with a tender taste.

We also had their Cornmeal Fried Gulf Fish Tacos, which are the best on the beach. No heavy coating. Wonderful little morsels of fresh snapper and grouper. The we're served with a creamy slaw that had a small kick, not taking away from the lightness of the fish and served on a grilled tortilla.

Love the food here and love the Louisiana influence.

“Still love it!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

We've been here several times over several years and it's on our short list for must go when we stay in the area. We only go for the champagne brunch and ALWAYS make a reservation in advance. It was packed yesterday and rarely do we see open space for long. Also remember that this is an upscale restaurant and this is reflected in the pricing.
Tried something new this time - C had Huevos Rancheros and I had the Creole Omelet. Plenty of food and very tasty. And the champagne is a constant pour as long as you behave and pace yourself. "Free" alcohol can be a bad thing if not held in check.
We talk about every eating experience and agree that this a still a nice place to come. we are always treated well and love the food. We do not have a Fire at home so it's a treat.
