Description: We are a small contemporary Italian restaurant. We have a full bar and bar area, dining room with open kitchen and a screened in porch area. We are chef owned and operated and at least one of the two owner/chefs can be found in the kitchen every night. We have a excellent staff most of whom have been with us for many years. We had our 15 year anniversary on March 1, 2015 with the same two owner/chefs for that time. We have a nice variety of food to choose from, with appetizers like calamari and pan seared sea scallops, salads like Caesar and arugula, pastas like angel hair with pan seared shrimp and three meat bolognese and entrees like grouper nicoise and roasted eggplant lasagna. Please come and give us a try!

“Cockroach”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

We were enjoying our evening at Borago's when my husband felt something crawling on him. It was a cockroach. I immediately told our waiter. The manager came over..basically told us "that it's been raining a lot outside". Food is mediocre. Nothing to write home about. Back in Houston, they would have covered our meal. Not here. I cannot describe how utterly disgusting it is to see a roach while having dinner.

“Don't Miss It”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2012

We were invited to meet friends here, and were very glad we went. The entire meal was scrumptious, beginning with warm housemade focaccia bread. I had Salmon with a horseradish crust on top of creamy polenta. My husband had Veal Piccata which was tender and flavorful. Our friends' dinners looked appealing as well. Everyone in our party was happy with their meal. The service was very good, and the atmosphere was nice.

“Delicious, relaxing and lovely”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2012

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. She raved about the mushroom ravioli, which she got as her main course. I had the chicken linguine with pancetta and shittake mushrooms in a cream sauce, very rich and flavorful. Dessert was a dark chocolate creme brulee, which being a bona fide chocoholic, I found absolutely decadent! Our service from Mark was impeccable. We ate on the screened porch which had soft lighting, filmy curtains and a pleasant breeze.

“Good consistent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

We have been here several times and it is getting to be a "regular" visit while we are at our beach house. Not much atmosphere but the food is very good. Try the specials and you can't go wrong. Prices are competitive with other beach restaurants but the food and quality is a notch above others.
