We are a family who usually does not eat breakfast but we had heard at the Island Cow,it was better than breakfast, so we decided to take a chance. We had, on a previous occasion, had dinner there and enjoyed it so we decided to get adventurous and give it a whirl. The decor, atmosphere etc., was great, but the difference was, no waiting. We went about 8AM. We were promptly seated and given 2 menus, one with the specials on it and the other, the regular menu with some breakfast dishes on it. Our server, Molly was very nice and courteous and promptly attended our needs.
I had the Juan-Bo and my wife had eggs, back, and toast. Both dishes were "out of this world". The portion size was great, and the preparation was great. We usually have our eggs "over easy" and many times, it is very hard to get them that way. Here, we received them just as ordered! Both dishes were served with a few pieces of fresh fruit. The coffee cup was bottomless and we pleasantly found out that they use "Starbucks Coffee"!
All in all, we found this a very good place to have breakfast, as well as dinner and we will definitely return, not only for the food, but for the wonderful island hospitality and the chance to eat in a colorful, pleasant place!
