“Hotel Restaurant with TONS of seafood options”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

We went here from a recommendation on the pizza... Definitely LOVE the new ambiance (haven't been here since it was Courtneys)! The white wavy bar with blue lighting is a great thing to walk into when you enter. We viewed the menu before deciding to go and noticed it was limited with mainly seafood options. Seeing the reviews on Jean Paul and his great service... we decided to go! We also lucked out and had Jean Paul as our server. He was great, the kids meal was great, the lack of choices was not great and I don't like seafood and the pizza definitely wasn't anything special. I don't think we will be returning unless it is for drinks!

“Good dinner spot, especially if staying at Holiday Inn”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2014

There were fresh diner seafood choices, at moderate prices. (The local tourist publications have a $5 off coupon in them. The Holiday Inn front desk also has them; not sure if you must be staying there.) Good service. Breakfast was a little spottier in its service. Billing was also unreliable. We ate there one night and the next morning at 8:30, someone came to our room and asked for a signature from dinner the night before. Then at checkout, they had put another family's meal on our bill (but agreed to remove it).
There's a mandatory 18% tip that is added to all bills. we questioned this (particularly at breakfast, when the service wasn't always good) and were told that people from other countries don't necessarily understand US tipping practicing, so by charging everyone 18% it resolves that problem.
We weren't there for this, but they advertise a good sushi bar and a Thursday night Ladies Night with free drinks for women.

“surprisingly fabulous meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2014

I admit I'm leary of restaurants in hotels, especially in a holiday Inn. We had planned a dinner out but at the last minuge our driver wasn't available. This restaurant was in walking distance so we decided to give it a try. From the moment we arrived everything was excellent. The fresh sushi was on dixplay, all the bottles of wine were half price ( and reasonable at refular price). we had shrimp scampi, fresh fish and veggie sushi. All were excellent, as were the desserts. We will definitely be back!

“Pleasantly suprised”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2014

We actually we going to the tiki bar to have a quick meal but were closed for food already. So we stepped into the Starfish Grille and were pleasantly suprised. The shark bites were wonderful and I had a blackened red snapper over mash potatoes that was awesome!!! Jean Claude our waiter was the best

“Great sushi and friendly atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014

We ate twice here. Since we were in the Holiday Inn. We had great contact with the waiters, even though it was very, very busy, they were very friendly and proffesional. We are still waiting for the promised SG stickers !!! The food was good, the price was nice. I liked the lights and colors of the restaurant.
Greetings,
Y. Abhau
