Appreciate all the hard work that's been done to Beachview (Sanibel Island Golf Club) since new owners managing. New golf carts are great. Staff is new, very friendly and attentive. Both nice improvements. Grass on greens is cut shorter and putts move a bit better now - but there are a lot of sanded areas on greens - not sure why? And greens maybe a bit larger due to mowing area expansion. Have heard greens are cut daily but not sure if I believe after playing a few rounds lately. Bar is very nice and a great place to meet for the 19th hole. Lots of tree/brush trimming has been done - some of the sight lines are now much better. If I was a Beachview neighborhood homeowner I would be thrilled by the prospect of an improved course (and the improved tree trimming). But that is a ways down the road. High hopes the new owners will get this course fixed right - they have a good story and some experienced folks in charge. But in the mean time, rates are just too high for what this course still is: $89 for 18 or $69 after 2pm is just too much for a course of this caliber. Oh - it would be nice to have a snack stand/stop and beverage cart.

My family and I LOVE Sanibel and ALL it has to offer and when you can play a few friendly rounds of golf while catching glimpses of some amazing wild life -what more could you ask for?!!
The new owners are wonderful people and have already made some noticeable improvements. Love the friendly service with a smile!
Go play and have fun at the new Sanibel Island Golf Course!

The course is not that great, but it is convenient, the new owners are really focused on service. Unforunately like most things on Sanibel its pricey, you can go off island and play for 2/3 the price. but hey its here so why drive off the island
One probelm is they dont let you know what the pin placements are, neither thru colour coding the flags, or by showing you current placement on a card

We played this course early one morning. It was very quiet but busy by the time we had finished our game. We enjoyed the course. We heard that it has recently been sold. There were no facilities at the clubhouse while we were there. Maybe that will change when the new owners take over. We would definitely play there again.

This was my first round in almost 2 years due to a skiing injury and was a perfect way to start. This is a short, forgiving course, pretty but its not lush and perfecdtly groomed like the Dunes course. However, if you are renting clubs and need balls it is 30% less expensive. They started us on the back nine at 11:15 and it was empty. Unfortunately, they let people start afterwards on the front nine and it backed up and annoying to have to wait on each shot.

Thank kod
