I first stayed here several years ago and had a great time, so when a family event had us coming back to the Fort Myers area I instantly decided to see if Tarpon Tale Inn was available for our stay. We also lucked out that this was off-season and the rates were very reasonable. We decided to stay in a different room than last time, but were just as pleased. This trip we were in the Historic Lighthouse #2 which is a studio. It was perfect! I can't say enough about this Inn and the charm and hospitality. Yes, it is an older property, but I don't think anyone could take better care of this place than the owners do. Everything is spotlessly clean and so comfortable. We didn't want to leave. Plus being just a block from the beach and having the Lighthouse Cafe just across the street is fantastic! We especially love having free use of the bicycles. I can't wait to go back, and hopefully sooner than later.
