Stayed a week here for our baby moon. Stayed in April the first week of the month. It was beautiful. The best beach I had ever been to. We went to all of them on the island and ours was the best.Loved the room. Everything you need And more. What can I say...this place left me speechless. Its a bucket list must do! Can't wait to bring our 7 kids next time!

This place is amazing. The beaches are great for shelling. We had a two bedroom condo. Plenty of room for everyone. Sitting on the screened in balcony at night is so relaxing. Only thing ti look out for are the no-see-ums. The are little bitting bugs yiu cant see. Bring some off.

We stayed at Casa Ybel for a week in June 2013 for our first time! It was an absolute paradise! The rooms are spacious, and have a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico! The ocean blue water, shelling, and white sand are incredible! We enjoyed dinner at the award winning Thistle Lodge several nights. I highly recommend their specialty lobster and steak! One of the best meals I have ever had! There are also plenty of activities for children, a great kids pool, Casa Kids Club, and arts and crafts activities daily. My six year old twins loved Casa Kids Club, especially pirate day! We loved this resort so much, we bought a time share condo for two weeks each year! Thank you to the outstanding staff that made our visit so special! We can't wait to return to paradise next year!

We stayed at this resort for four days over the week of July 4th. I had researched this resort, and liked what I saw so we booked a 1 bedroom King. My sister also stayed at this resort at the same time we were there, and they had the same room with a queen/double. No major differences between the 2 rooms except we had a stairway off our screened porch and they didn't have one. We enjoyed our stay!!! We were beachfront, and all the rooms were clean and stocked. Housekeeping came everyday, and the unit got freshened up with clean towels:) We never got bored once during our stay. The grounds were beautiful, the swimming pool was wonderful with a large kiddie pool, and plenty of pool toys for the kids to use. We didn't do the organized games for the kids, but I know they were fun, One day, my nieces even had their hair braided down at the pool which they loved - I think the braids cost about $7.00 each.I'm not sure how often the resort offers these services, but it was nice. I did take my son to the ice cream social, and they charged not quite four dollars which I thought was a little much. A lot of the local restaurants delivered which was handy with 2 small kids, and the local grocery store, Bailey's was awesome!!! They have a coffee cafe in the store, and there's a True Value attached as well. I think there was a liquor store in the same plaza too! We never ate at this resort because there were so many awesome places to try in town. We would definitely stay here again!!!! Our favorite place to eat was The Island Cow, and my husband and son loved walking on the nature trails to see the wildlife, and we all enjoyed collecting seashells. Would have loved to see the lighthouse, but we ran out of time. Shopping at Periwinkle Place was nice too! I don't really have any negatives - my husband thought the resort should have had more security and an extra lock on the door since our son could just open the door and run out. My brother-in-law was concerned about our off-screened balcony stairway but that didn't bother us, and it was convenient for beach access. All in all it was a great vacay at a great resort!!!

We stayed at casa ybel for 6 nights. The location was very good with a green lawn separating the condo from the ocean. There are loads of seashells. The pool is also conveniently located to the condos, even the farthest condos were not that far. We ate at coconuts for lunch 2x and recommend the ahi tuna tacos, grouper sandwich was ok. Coconuts offers a happy hour from 3-5 which was nice.

In regards to the condo itself, there were a few basic cooking items, no baking sheets which would be a good addition. Bring plastic baggies, there is no Tupperware for storing. I do feel it lacked counter space for those that plan to eat in a lot. There is a nice screened in porch. A recommendation for casa ybel to add an entry lock on the back sliding door, so guests can enter the rear with a key. Many times, entry on the beach side would be convenient. Also, add an outdoor light on the patio, so guests can enjoy the patio in the evening. The bedroom was spacious and the multiple doors to the single bathroom was nice.there was a tv in the bedroom and living room which was also a nice feature. A water spicket was conveniently located outside each rear door to rinse your feet.

Caution: do not rent bikes from casa ybel. Go to one of the bike shops in town. We reserved bikes in advance only to find bikes with blown tires. After finding replacements, the child pedals didn't move, adult bikes squeaked and we rode around town applying wd40 to the terribly rusted chains. The majority of the inventory was in this condition. The bikes that casa ybel rents is junk. My recommendation: go to bike shop that only rents bikes which are most likely in better condition than these. My recommendation for casa ybel: only rent bikes that are in good condition, keep your inventory covered instead of leAving it exposed To rain, or don't rent bikes. This was the only negative about our stay. The bikes were a waste of money.

Great hotel and great location. Walked to beach and pool is right next to the beach. Rooms were very clean and staff were accommodating of all requests. Rooms are large and well appointed. Grounds are well kept. You're close to sanibel shopping and all the restaurants. Will stay again
