This was a great stop for a little history on the island. We accidentally found it while riding our bikes around and decided to stop in. We paid, but were a little surprised by, the entrance fee of $10 per person. The docent was informative as she showed us around the first house, but she trailed us around and we became anxious to move on to other buildings. We did not do a tour as there was one in progress when we arrived but we missed seeing one of the buildings because the large tour group blocked the entrance. The construction of the buildings and the salt pine used was very interesting.
