My husband and I stayed here on mini honeymoon. We wanted somewhere that wasn't far to fly and wasn't too touristy. It was very easy to get to from the Ft. Myers airport, and upon arriving (early) they didn't mind checking to see if our room was ready early. Our suite was very nice. I chose a gulf side view suite, but honestly, you couldn't see anything past the pool from our room. Maybe from the second floor they could, but we couldn't on the first floor.
The bedding and linens were very clean (always important) and even though we kept our bath towels hung up so they wouldn't give us new ones each day, they still did. We didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't say anything about that, but we did utilize the kitchenette we had. Dish soap was provided, but not anything to wash the dishes with. We had silverware, but all of the spoons were GIANT. Not a big deal though.
Great location and the front desk was very helpful. There was so much shopping and great restaurants in town! It was so hard deciding where to eat. The beaches weren't crowded and an employee (1 very hardworking man) would bring down the beach chairs and umbrellas to the beach for each guest who wanted one. It was 90 degrees at 9 in the morning and he was so nice putting everyone's chairs on the beach. The inn also had bikes which was nice, even though I think the wheel was going to fall off mine ... I survived.
I really hope to go back again. The tiki bar located next to the pool is able to get food from the restaurant which is a nice option. And the bar tender made my husband a very good Bloody Mary.
