The food was good, but the way we were treated was inexcusable. We were not welcomed by the hostess or our waiter, Tony. (Never a smile.) We thought he must really hate his job. He never told us his name or asked us if we wanted anything to drink or any appetizers. He just took our dinner order. We had to call him back to the table to order salads since we forgot (and he did not ask us) to order them. There was plenty more to complain about, but I think you get the idea. There are many restaurants from which to choose on Sanibel. One would think they would treat their customers better. We aren't tourists either - although we were treated like them. This crew would never survive at the New York location.
