Description: IL Tesoro Ristorante, the restaurant name which means ,"the Treasure" in Italian, features authentic Italian cuisine with a modern sophisticated touch using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Enjoy a festive experience in a Bistro-style setting, with hundreds of Italian wines and dozens of original oil paintings decorating the walls. Open kitchen flair is added enjoyment of the evening as you can watch your dinner being carefully prepared. Our menu is the total creation of Chef/Owner, AJ Black, where his motto reigns supreme, “Fresh Ingredients, simplicity, love are the recipe for a treasured dining experience."

Il Tesoro's food never disappoints. Over many visits, it has always been delicious if a bit pricey. Wine prices are absurdly expensive. The owner is gracious and hospitable. On a recent visit, the restaurant was overstuffed for the number of diners, with service prompt as one would expect, but overly so for such a lovely restaurant, eg the check came with the dessert and plates were whisked away as soon as the fork was put down. Despite this, no one checked back to see if we were enjoying any of our three courses, a fairly major oversight. We will return for the food, but avoid the wine.

Seldom do you find a place, restaurant, resort or cruise ship, when the second visit is as special as the fist, but we found one. The food, the service and same vintage bottle of wine. The antipasto is amongst the best you will find anywhere. From the moment you arrive until dessert is finished you will want for little. A special place with special people. A definite try and try again!

This is the second year my sister and I had dinner at Il Tesoro. Everything was perfect! The service, the menu, the wine list. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and wine and checked back often to make sure we didn't need anything. While it is pricey, it certainly is worth every cent. We'll be back next year!

Great place. Atmosphere is wonderful too. The female who seated us and took drink order was short with us. We had to ask twice to get 2 glasses of wine after waiting much to long. The waiter was great after we got by this inefficient female at the start. My recommendation is to get some training for this person. All else here was great. Fresh flavorful food.

Very courteous staff and dedicated owner. We had the latest reservation, were 20 mins. late and they still graciously served us. And in a very unhurried manner. The owner is personable and hands on. Very fresh and nice menu. Great wine list.
I had the linguine w clams, sautéed spinach. My wife had penne primevera. We both had salads to start. She the pear salad, and I the mixta salad. Both were very fresh, chilled, and delicious! The pastas were cooked al dente.
It was not the best Italian example of those dishes, but very good! The bread was simple but authentic.
A very clean and neat little place.
I recommend this Fl. version of a NY Italian rest.
