Nice people. Clean spacious room. Well supplied. Fabulous Sanibel Views. Nice pool area.

If we didn't have a timeshare on Sanibel, we would stay here more often. The only negative was the parking. It was not very close to our room.

Room Tip: Oceanfront view room was great!!

We stayed a couple nights for a quick get away. The location is prime, the room was clean and comfortable and well appointed. With the Seaside you get some resort style features while still not getting "consumed" in a big resort. There were chairs/umbrellas on beach and bikes, and books avail on loan, even a grill and place to wash off shells! Would easily recommend to anyone looking for a quaint place to get away for a bit.

Room Tip: We stayed downstairs on a corner room, was a bit noisy at times when folks came and went or when ups...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Seaside Inn. It's not fancy, you won't get the amenities of the big name resorts but you will get a very friendly staff and an absolutely amazing beach. The room could have been cleaner but I wouldn't classify it as dirty.

They bring you a cute little breakfast basket at night which I don't think I've ever experienced before. There is a small kitchen which is handy.

Will certainly stay here again, hopefully longer next time.

Nicely located 10 yds from the famous seashell beach with dolphins occasionally appearing to add to the ambiance.
Comprised of a cluster of classic Florida Keys 60s buildings with a variety of decently sized and redecorated accommodations ranging from en suite bedrooms with a small kitchenette area to 3 bedroom cottages.
There is no restaurant, bar, fitness facility or grocery store within easy walking distance but it is ideal for a self catered vacation or for those who do not mind a 10 minute drive to the Sanibel shops and restaurants.
Some really nice touches with kayaks, bicycles and bbqs available for anyone's use. There is also a pay per use laundry facility. On the beach they even brought around water and ice cream one day.
The staff were great and could not do enough to help whether that was the front desk or housekeeping.
I enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

We've stayed at the Seaside Inn a couple of times. The staff is wonderful. The first time, we rented the three bedroom suite and my father-in-law stayed with us. It was a perfect size, very nicely decorated and in a excellent location. The next time we stayed there, we stayed in the one bedroom suite. That was a bit smaller, but it was perfectly decorated as well. We love that they bicycles for you to use. You can bicycle anywhere safely on Sanibel because of the convenient bicycling trails that run the length of the island! You are steps from shelling heaven! You can not find shells like this any other place in the world! We found sand dollars, starfish and the most beautiful shells that I have ever seen. Sanibel is one of my favorite places to vacation and we wouldn't hesitate returning to the Seaside Inn.

We just held our wedding on the beach in front of the Seaside Inn. 50 people came to help us celebrate our day. Sharon helped us set up our reservations and kept our large group organized. Lyle and Lindsey at the front desk were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Caroline in housekeeping has been there 30 years and went out of her way to make sure everything was clean and comfortable. She was friendly and delightful. Out of 50 of us, no one had any complaints with our rooms or the staff or how smoothly anything went. The location had grills and laundry on site, the bicycles and kayaks were a hit and the tables by the pool were a popular breakfast spot and easy to see from nearly everywhere. The entire event was perfect and magical and we can't wait to return to the seaside inn. Thank you for everything!!!! We loved it, you guys rock!

My two children and I just spent a week at the Seaside Inn and are hoping to make it an annual trip. I felt like I rented a house on the beach! It was very cozy and homey and I didn't feel like I had to keep my eye on the kids every moment. I had wavered between choosing the Seaside Inn or the Sanibel Inn but chose correctly based on what I was looking for. The Sanibel Inn was very nice but more like a typical hotel and the pool and beach were more crowded. A better choice for those looking for a hotel but the low-key atmosphere of the Seaside was the best option for us. Free use of the bicycles and kayaks were a welcome bonus. The breakfast basket was good to tide the kids over but definitely got old after several days of the same thing. However, dinner leftovers, a well-stocked grocery store on the island (Jerry's) and a microwave in the room filled in the gaps nicely. All in all, Sanibel was a great destination and stayng at the Seaside really added to our experience.
