This is our second stay at Song of the Sea. Last time was five years ago and I think everything is just the same. The room we had was clean and neat. All the staff were friendly and helpful. So considering all the amenities (breakfast with fresh fruit, complimentary bicycles, comfy pillowtop mattresses, hot shower with plenty of thick terry cloth towels, convenient beach access, clean pool, beach chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach each morning) what's not to like? The rate was off-season and with senior discount made it even better. This is not a new hotel just an older hotel with a lot of character and charm.

Song of the Sea is located right on the Gulf side of Sanibel Island. The rooms are very comfortable with plenty of living area and a efficiency kitchen. There is a screened in balcony/porch with room to sit & listen to the waves. You are just steps away from the beautiful white beach and thousands of sea shells. The management is awesome. Friendly and accommodating. And don't miss the complimentary breakfast. It was better than one we went out for.
This is our second - and not last! - trip to Song of the Sea.

Room Tip: Rooms are first come first serve. But if you can, get a ocean front second floor

We spent 4 days at the Song of the Sea. It was clean and comfortable. They provided a bottle of wine in our room. Breakfast was so-so. The beach was quiet with beach chairs provided. The pool was clean.

Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Room was wonderful (beachfront) direct gulf view. Wonderful staff service, great location, quiet and clean. We will return every year! Room is approx 500 square feet and bed is king size, sorta large for the size of the room, but comfortable. It is well worth the trip. Room was also less expensive during the month of August 28-sept 2.

Room Tip: Beachfront boutique, direct gulf view

We spent our 25th Anniversary at the Song of the Sea. We stayed one week 24th-30th. It was wonderful. Pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. The view to the ocean from the second floor was perfect. Continental breakfast everyday in the office area. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Very quite location as well. Very cozy rooms, which were very clean and well maintained. The king size bed in our room was very nice. Was wonderful sitting outside our room in a private screened in porch. RELAXING!!! Great intimate place, even had a bottle of wine waiting in out room upon arrival. Must go back! C'mon 2014!!!!

Room Tip: Second floor was choice for us, but all rooms looked nice.

We stayed at Song of the Sea to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The room was very comfortable and the staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating from the time we walked through the door until the time we left. The grounds are beautiful and the location is convenient to most of the local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend Song of the Sea to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, quaint place to stay.
