My wife and I stayed at The Parrot Nest for two nights in July 08.
I had stumbled across their website while searching for accommodations and was attracted by the cozy little cottage setting. We called them directly and Brenda, the manager, was very helpful describing their property and helping us with the booking. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the cottage was even more beautiful than she had described. The adults only efficiency was spotlessly clean and hosted a sleep number bed that was very comfy with a new A/C unit and a cozy little patio. They supplied us with beach chairs and beach towels and gave us the scoop on the " best places to dine" while we were there. They also had a garden patio complete with grill and utensils in case we wanted to barbeque ourselves. Just a few yards from one of the island's best breakfast places, the" Lighthouse Cafe" and" Pinnochio's Ice Cream" that serves home made treats, we didn't have to travel far at dinner time.
I would recommend " The Parrot Nest" to anyone who is looking for a romantic get-a way spot at a great price.
We can't wait to go back.
