We have lived in Seminole County for 30 years. Downtown Sanford wasn’t much back in the 80’s. Today it is a wonderful place that keeps getting better. There are many good restaurants and shops and parking is convenient.

We were Downtown during German Spring Fest and it was awesome! Lots of vendors selling cool stuff, plenty of places to get a drink, and lots of fun shops to browse! We will be back!

A few older buildings with plenty of plaques throughout the city explaining the history and people of earlier days. Not too crowded and the streets are kept clean and tidy.

We only went into Sanford because we were taking the Auto Train home, and wanted some lunch. The town was a revelation - a very pretty small town on a huge lake, with many good restaurants. We got sandwiches from Hollerbach's German deli, and drove along the lakefront to find a spot to get out and eat in the sunshine. Wonderful.

From its brick streets, to its park like settings within the town, to its old time store fronts to the water’s edge, this town will amaze you. There are multiple breweries/restaurants at the east end of town & the town center is filled with occupied shops, which is a rarity within its own, now a days. A nice place st stroll around, have a beer or glass of wine, take a boat ride and have dinner
