Found this place through some flyers at the condo we rented. Trip Advisor also had good reviews. We were not disappointed. If you like healthier food choices, try the "skinny omelette". They also have many other choices on the menu. The coffee was very good. The price was pretty much standard for any breakfast place.

Excellent food and excellent service! Wanted to go to the Do-Nut Hole but decided to try this place instead. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend!!!!

There are two Broken Egg establishments within the Sandestin resort. One is located at Baytowne Wharf while the other is located near the Spa. Each location offers an interesting view. Baytowne gives you a more manicured view of various shops, restaurants and people watching while dining alfresco. I personally prefer the spa location because it offers a wonderful bayside view.

The food is hit or miss. It is usually pretty good but one of the problems I have with it is that the entrees are cool when arriving to the table. Most often our cappuccinos have arrived after our food and the wait is usually 20-25 minutes or so.

They offer an excellent variety of coffees... Espresso, Cappuccino, coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto, etc... The juices taste fresh squeezed and you can even mix half orange juice with half grapefruit and it's great.

Most of the menu is good so here it what I don't recommend:
Shrimp and Grits - Again, while it's good the temperature coolness of the sauce completely ruins the dish. Even when I've informed the server beforehand the dish always arrives too cold. I'm not sure why.
There is a steak item on the menu, I can't remember exactly what it is but it's the only steak item. The steak in this dish looks and tastes like the steak you'd get in a Taco Bell dish. Don't get it.

Here's what I like the best...
Chicken Salad
Granola, Fruit and Quinoa - This is awesome. It's a combo of house made roasted granola, blueberry quinoa, various fresh berries, toasted coconut crusted bananas, vanilla yogurt and coconut milk.

This was the best breakfast ever! The pancakes were delicious and the bacon was out of this world, but the ultimate is the cinnamon role French toast. My daughter loved it. Service was also outstanding.

We ate breakfast every morning at this restaurant and absolutely loved it. We had oatmeal, omelets, pancakes and the beignets! Everything was so fabulous. The service was just as wonderful. Everyone greeted us with a smile, and checked on us throughout our breakfast. Whoever is running this place is doing a great job. Our morning breakfasts were a great start to each vacation day. We will definitely visit ABE when we are back in town.
