Light jazz played in the background because the room acoustics amplify conversations. The restaurant has tables inside an outside and in the lobby corridor. A bar runs the length of the main room. The short ribs on Polenta were good as well as the chicken with mushroom sauce, served with a section of scalloped potatoes. For dessert, I had the bread pudding topped with whipped cream and an edible nasturtium flower. Dessert large enough to share. Our waiter Jason was attentive and friendly.
When we searched online for Brick and Mortar restaurant in St. Pete we kept getting Eddie V's website. The waiter said they know about the glitch and are trying to fix it.

Really small cool place with sidewalk seating that was comfortable and in a nice area.

Food and bear was really good, I had the vegan dish and it had a TON of flavors. It was a beat dish with some really cool additional veggies.

They had a nice beer selection as well – with local beers.

When I am back in town, I will be looking for this place.

This tiny restaurant (about 40 seats) serves and eclectic blend of Asian-inspired American fair. We had tuna tartar with cuke kimchi, roasted octopus, blue cheese and prosciutto flat bread, burger, 2 salads of baby beets and and kale and roasted romaine, as well as mussels with Gorgonzola and white wine. All the food was served in beautifully thoughtful and creative ways and was delicious. Our server was a seasoned and well-informed server who had worked their 2.5 years. She knew the food and the wine list very well and recommended all the right combos. You don't get this kind of service much anymore. HIghly recommended for adults only.

Well prepared food: excellent salads. short ribs, vegetables and desserts
Only complaint is that the menu does not change seasonally very much.
