Larry and Ellen are excellent innkeepers. Larelle house is cozy but gorgeous, and their recently renovated patio/backyard has a beautiful and romantic jaccuzzi with a trellace/plant intertwined roof. We stayed in the longley room which features a raised king bed and gorgeous furniture. My only complaint was that it took me a night to get used to the bed, but that's just me. I slept like a baby the second night. Breakfast usually includes a fresh fruit 1st course, a gourmet entree, and a generous portion of a breakfast style dessert, served with fresh coffee, juice, or water. If you're there on Sunday morning, mimosas are on the menu. I proposed to my fiancee while there, and it was so romantic we will be back again this year, will buy gift certificates for the parents to have a weekend getaway, and will stay there the first two nights of our honeymoon. If you decide you want to do more than lounge about all day (what we did) you can explore all of downtown St. Petersburg on foot or use the beach style bikes provided free from the owners. Just a side note, if you are allergic to cats stack up on antihistamines as there are 3 that live on the property but are well behaved.
