This is a great place to kayak. My whole family went and we had a wonderful time. The water is calm, and there is wildlife to watch. It is very peaceful.

“Dolphins, Mangroves, Stingrays oh my”

Beautiful kayaking, we took our own boats but did go with a group of friends who knew their way around the mangrove tunnels - I can see where you would run into trouble if you didn't know the tunnels/tides etc.

“Nice Nature Preserve”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

I was jealous of all those kayakers but we had a nice hike along the boardwalks. Lots of wildlife to be seen. The flying fish (snook) were quite amusing to me. Unfortunately the information center is not open on Sundays. Glad that the rest rooms were, tho!
