it is not in the best neighborhood so all the doors to the exterior should stay locked and staff should be diligent to all visitors to ensure all guests safety, the only issue I have is the early end time to breakfastMore

At the end in March I was visiting St. Petersburg for an editing convention. I picked this hotel over the convention's hotel because it had a kitchenette, free breakfast, free wifi, and free shuttle services. By the end of my trip I was extremely happy with my choice.
The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. For extra measures I brought my own kitchen cleaning supplies and wiped down the microwave and fridge before use. I do recommend doing that because I found crumbs from previous visitors, but I understand they can't take a toothbrush to every inch of every room. Also, when I found a black smudge on my blanket, they changed the sheets right away.
The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I had. What blew me away was that you could order turkey bacon if you can't eat the pork products available. I do suggest only ordering it if you can wait 5-10 minutes. If you're in a hurry there are plenty of other high quality options available. I'd often make a little biscuit, cheese, and egg sandwich when I stayed.
And the best part? The free shuttle. I used it 4 out of the 5 days I was there and it saved me so much money for parking and gas. I was so grateful. Jay would usually transport me in the morning and he was the coolest of the drivers. He has 5 stars alone. On average they were there between 10-20 minutes after I called to pick me up from the convention. There was only one day that I had to wait over 40 minutes for them, which didn't bother me because after the convention I wasn't on tight schedule.
Check in and check out was a breeze. It's in a very central location. And everyone was super friendly and helpful. It made my whole trip much nicer. I would highly recommend this hotel! :)

Spacious suites, good facilities, good location, free shuttle, free breakfast and free happy hour Mon, Tue and Wed from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. What more can you ask for?!
Friendly staff, free laundry( you just need your own washing powder); they even have a barbecue outside by the pool!
Breakfast is a bit limited but it's enough for me.

Stayed here 3 nights using points during spring break to enjoy the Florida sun, beach, Busch Gardens, opening day baseball, etc. I booked at this property based on the glowing reviews, and central location. The location was good. About 15 minutes to the beach (we really liked Pass-A-Grill just south of St Pete Bch) and Busch Gardens was about 35 minutes away. The baseball stadium is only a 10 minute walk. Also, the staff was reasonably friendly. Now the negatives: The wifi was practically unusable it was so slow. This is critical for me as I need to be able to download files in order to keep up with my work. The breakfast was also disappointing. I was expecting something on the same order of Embassy Suites or Residence Inn. This breakfast was basically the same as a Holiday Inn Express. Not a huge deal but I was expecting something a little more "home cooked" based on reviews and marketing gloss. Lastly, the sliding shower door kept coming off track. This was a slight nuisance but could be dangerous if it fell. I very seldom write negative or average reviews but this stay really fell short of expectations.

We were a small group. Check in was seamless, the lobby was super clean. Our suite was spacious with a sleeping room and a kitchenette / living room. It was warm and inviting. Even though the interstate ends right outside the window it was quiet. They had a nice pool and fitness center. Breakfast was very, very good with many choices both hot and cold and an attendant keeping everything stocked up. The Wi-Fi was very good throughout the facility. The bed was super comfortable. Water in the shower hot and powerful. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of. Fantastic is they have a shuttle running to 10pm and it will bring you / pick you up anywhere in a 5 mile radius. There is a bar but I didn't use it. Great place and I will stay here again if I'm back in the area!

We recently had to spend over 3 months in a hotel while our home was being finished. The Staybridge choice was the right one! The staff at the hotel are amazing - made us feel so welcome and 'at home'. The value was so great - especially for 'in season' rates. The facility is beautifully maintained - clean and modern with a beautiful pool area. And top it off with complementary breakfast 7 days a week. Lite dinner with wine and beer Monday - Wednesday, and a catering staff that made you feel like VIP guests.
Would highly recommend this for business travel, meetings, personal events, and for people just like us - who need an extended stay and want more than a normal hotel has to offer.
