“Guy's got it worked out”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

Mark Ferguson and his staff have a great bar that continues to grow and thrive in a downtown that was once a ghost town. Good food and drink and a must for an event at the Trop- go see the local guys and have a beer and a good time.

“Only Place To Go Before or After a Rays Game”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Huge sports bar right across from the Trop. Not fancy. A lot of it is outside. Jammed and fun for big games like Opening Day, playoffs, etc. Sidewalk out front is scalpers ticket market. Food is typical bar fare, good burgers, wings, etc. Cold beer. Great place before or after the game.

“Not for food”
Reviewed September 20, 2012 via mobile

I went to this place after a baseball game. If you're a club/bar person it may not bother you. After fighting our way through the drunks we made our way to a table in te dining area. I had a burger. It was not good at all. Clearly a frozen pattie. Eeew. Would not recommend the food. My poor tummy.

“Great stop before or after a game!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

But you should go more often. Great atmosphere, decent food for a sports bar with good beer prices considering it's right next store to the Trop. The place is huge, upstairs, down stairs, out front, around the corners and out back. They do an excellent job serving food during the super busy times before events, cafeteria style with a limited menu. This place gets busy on event nights so be prepared. If you have not ever been, you need to go. When there is not an event going on things are a little quieter and you will get waitress table service with a full menu and the food is very good for the price.

“It was interesting . . .”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

We stopped here before going to a day game on a weekday thinking we could get a quick bite before the game. I have never been here before so just assumed it was a normal bar. Apparently during games there are no waitresses and you have to go into a Cafeteria style line to order a hamburger, hot dog, wrap or chicken. The prices were a little high for something coming out of a food truck kitchen! We decided to just get drinks and fries and eat in the Stadium. The decor was a little stranger than strange! The chairs were all mixed matched and some looked like they came from a garage sale. Then there were the two dancing cages in the corner. There were TVs everywhere but the cords and all were all of over the place and looked very sloppy. It seemed to be the place to be before the game but to me it truly wasnt anything to write home about. This place is all about Location Location Location because if they were somewhere else other then right by the stadium I dont know that they would be as successful as they are. The food didnt look all that great. The fries were ok but a little soggy. Again all of the food is coming out of a food truck from a guy not wearing gloves! It kind of grossed me out but I and one other female were the only two women in the bar. . . and honestly guys dont even noticed those kind of things most of the time. I know my husband didnt until I pointed it out!
