But you should go more often. Great atmosphere, decent food for a sports bar with good beer prices considering it's right next store to the Trop. The place is huge, upstairs, down stairs, out front, around the corners and out back. They do an excellent job serving food during the super busy times before events, cafeteria style with a limited menu. This place gets busy on event nights so be prepared. If you have not ever been, you need to go. When there is not an event going on things are a little quieter and you will get waitress table service with a full menu and the food is very good for the price.

We stopped here before going to a day game on a weekday thinking we could get a quick bite before the game. I have never been here before so just assumed it was a normal bar. Apparently during games there are no waitresses and you have to go into a Cafeteria style line to order a hamburger, hot dog, wrap or chicken. The prices were a little high for something coming out of a food truck kitchen! We decided to just get drinks and fries and eat in the Stadium. The decor was a little stranger than strange! The chairs were all mixed matched and some looked like they came from a garage sale. Then there were the two dancing cages in the corner. There were TVs everywhere but the cords and all were all of over the place and looked very sloppy. It seemed to be the place to be before the game but to me it truly wasnt anything to write home about. This place is all about Location Location Location because if they were somewhere else other then right by the stadium I dont know that they would be as successful as they are. The food didnt look all that great. The fries were ok but a little soggy. Again all of the food is coming out of a food truck from a guy not wearing gloves! It kind of grossed me out but I and one other female were the only two women in the bar. . . and honestly guys dont even noticed those kind of things most of the time. I know my husband didnt until I pointed it out!

You know how you hear about a place from everybody and then you finally go there only to find out how disappointed you are ? That didn't happen with Ferg's.

Since we had about 90 minutes to kill before going to today's Rays game (in which they beat the KC Royals 5-3), we walked over to Ferg's for lunch. what a neat place. The food was excellent (a burger and what i think may be home-made potato chips) Considering it's so close to Tropicana field you would expect the prices to be sky-high, but they actually were quite reasonable.

Additionally, the servers were gorgeous (yeah, I know. Men are pigs) and the men's room had TWO TV's. What's not to like ?

The best location for a huge sports bar is within walking distance of the venue. Ferg's is that place! Tons of outdoor seating but we were lucky and got an inside table. Even though the place was packed with baseball fans, our drinks and food arrived quickly. Our server informed us they have no drink specials on gameday, but everything was still very reasonably priced. Great sandwiches and atmosphere.

Went there before Rays/Yankees game. VERY hot and humid outside but comfortable inside. We had to stop a waitress so that we could place our order. The waitress, that did stop, was very good and apologized for the waitress who was suppose to help us. The food was very good and the location was great.
