Found this place by Trip Advisor- thanks! We were a group of 5 and we all had various dishes and no one was sad with their choice! I had the special lamb shank and it was incredibly tasty! Reminded me of my grandmother's cooking! The garlic potatoes and gravy were great too! Husband had the Shepard's pie and he loved that too. We all had desserts, and the bread pudding was to die for! Sister-in-law said the creme brulee was the best she ever had! The server was delightful- but super busy- for a Wednesday nite it seemed pretty crowded. Wonder how busy it must get on the weekend!! My only complaint was the noise. Need some acoustic panels or something....I couldn't hear 1/2 the conversations because it was so loud in there. Other than that- we will definitely be back- food was terrific!

We tried Jack' s London Grill for the first time tonight on a recommendation by family members who have been here several times. We were a party of five. Three tried the lamb shank special and were all very happy with their meals. My husband and I tried the Shepherd's pie and the beef and ale pie. Both meals were fabulous! We also each tried the bread pudding and apple crumble for dessert. Yum! Service was friendly and prompt. We will be back!

After hearing about a new restaurant in our area, we stopped in to check out Jacks London Grill on 62nd Street, St. Petersburg. Never being able to visit London, on that travel list someday, we went in to eat. Outside as we walked out on a chalkboard were the daily specials. As we entered, a big smile came from the kitchen, the Chef, saying hello. We were told that we could sit anywhere. Sitting down, our waitress, Tricia, came over with menu's and asked if we had ever been there before. We said no. She took our drink orders. Looking over the menu, all items looked good, gave a explaination and if one was adventureous go for it and try something new. One of us had the beer special, New Castle ale. Looked great in the class and one went and another one was ordered. We then ordered the Beer battered onion rings with chile jam. Omg, was one would say, the onion rings were fresh and that jam, sweet at first with a bite seconds later..some heat. What rings...gone in seconds. One then ordered Fish and Chips, the fish was cooked perfect, flakey, tender and with fries was eaten without leftovers. One ordered the Steak Bagette, no thin pieces of steak here. This also came with fries and was gone. I ordered the Bangers and Mash. The sausage were homemade, melted in your mouth. Steamed vegs along with the garlic mash potatoes with gravy, when beyond what my taste buds could handle. This plate was also returned emply. We finished with the chocolate mousse, what....taste, sweet chocolate light fluffy, nothing left in the dish. Our waitress was on the ball, coming to check on us frequently. Asking if we needed anything and refilling drinks. Customer service was excellent and Tricia went above and beyond to give us outstanding service to make our first experience at Jacks one to remember. Take it from the St. Pete foodie, stop at Jacks, check out the menu, have a beer and enjoy a taste of London. We will be returning to Jacks.

Jack's London Grill is a MUST VISIT restaurant in St Petersburg, Florida. They serve the best Shepard's Pie that I have ever eaten!

There are so many wonderful British items on their menu that are fantastic. It is nice to have such a great new restaurant in St Pete.

Always ask about their specials. Most days they prepare specials that are not on the menu.

We are at Jack's London Grill at least once a week!

For the earlier comments about terrible service..... I'll agree to say, they had a waitress when they first opened and she was not very good. FYI ~ she is no longer there. Come back, give them another try.... Jack's is on their game!

Great spot for good food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. We've been twice now for lunch and dinner and will make it a regular spot. The chicken pie was delicious, the fish and chips excellent. Definitely recommend it.
