Been dining here for over 20 years. Really good seafood at reasonable prices. Don't pass up an order of Hush Puppies, no one does them better.

We live a few blocks from this restaurant and have walked there several times. Our last two visits have been disappointing. The food has been bland to put it bluntly. There does seem to be too much oil in the fish even when "blackened" was the option selected. Happy hour is no longer a BOGO deal, which actually could be an improvement since the price of a house wine or draft beer at Happy hour is very reasonable. We have enjoyed going there, but with other options in the neighborhood, our visits will be less frequent after our recent experiences.

A definite stop if you're in the area on vacation and want good seafood and super cheap. It was about a 20 minute drive from St Pete beach but well worth it. We didn't know they had happy hour but we caught the end of that for $3 double drinks. All 4 people really enjoyed their meals and for about $10 you can be very full. They also had early bird specials which went until 6 or so. I'd recommend the steamed shrimp, fried shrimp, chicken, and grouper. The sides we liked were broccoli
which was great and beans & rice. I think there's a small outside area to eat at on the road side.

Tonight we decided to get some seafood. Our party of seven were promptly seated and the staff was professional and courteous. Substitutions were handled with no problem and the atmosphere was welcoming to parents with children of all ages.
The food was solid. Some items were great, others good and some items were fair.
My wife had the crab legs and she thought they were really good. I had fried shrimp and scallops. My portions was big and the seafood was good. The only complaint is that the food was served hot, but the food could have rested for a couple of minutes to let some of the food completely drain the grease.
The cole slaw was tasty, the fries were nothing special, and the hush puppies were well executed. We will go back, but this place could be better with just a little more execution in the kitchen.
