Great health food store. Still can not wait for Whole food to come to town. The parking is great and have most items that you can not find in the grocery store.
Prices have been lowered on items. In previous years health food store prices was a lot higher than they are now. I think because of the economy and compitition. Grocery stores have a lot of items now that they carry. Example: Daiya cheese, Earth Balance, Gardien and so much more.
Someone mentioned about the employees not being friendly. I just think that they need better customer service training..They can take a lesson from Publix.
So if you are looking for an item that you can not find at a grocery store they have them.

Nature's finest is now called Earth Origins Market at (727) 347-5682
6651 Central Ave, Saint Petersburg, FL 33710.
This is such a missed opportunity with mostly unhappy seeming employees. There is no hello or thank you. There are a few exceptions but mostly the feeling is unwelcoming. They have the normal bells and whistles of a health food place but when the only thing to differentiatie you from the others is your help - then a name change will not make a difference. Save your money and head over to Rollin' Oats on the other side of town where they are welcoming with really decent prices and a great lunch bar.

Here's a place that has healthy food for those in a hurry. Whether you sit and eat it there or take it back to work or home you know you'll have something not only good, but good for you too! Reasonably priced and a wide variety.

I like the fresh selections they offer for lunch. A big salad bar, hot food counter, and even fresh sushi. I will keep going back.!

Healthy (or supposedly healthy) products of many sorts, all in a grocery store type setting. If you aren't an experienced "health nut" guru, it may be best to do your research prior to shopping. Otherwise, you could buy into a fancy label faux product. Large assortments of nuts and fresh fruits (many sporting organic labels). Some delicious prepared foods like shrimp, tuna, and chicken salads for your test tasting enjoyment. A small salad bar with all the basics, sold by the pound.
I'm only giving NF a very good rating and not an excellent because having researched the true validity of "healing powers" and "anti-aging" potions of many similar products they carry, NF doesn't discriminate and weed out the snake oil. But, most of the big stores don't anyhow. For instance Alkaline Ionized Water. I've seen that not only does NF sell it, they actually allowed the "snake oil" salesman to set up shop dead center of the store to pitch this useless product. Promoting Alkaline Water Hurts People
It hurts because the people selling Alkaline water are making false medical claims which give people false hope or makes them not look for traditional treatments. It is sold, as a food supplement so there is no regulation. It is the same way they can sell weight loss and male enhancement products that do not work. Sake oil products come along all the time. It is amazing how we are all so desperate that we tend to want to believe anything. I just found it negligent of Natures Finest management to allow this, and it outwardly dings them on the credibility scale. And from the appearance of many of the customers I see shopping there, the anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, anti-stupidity antioxidants aren't working well for them (i've seen people buying the Alkaline Water... not smart).
Bottom line, buy a small amount of what you think you will like. Taste it, research the true nutritional values when you get time, and if you like the taste, buy more! But Winn Dixie may have a similar product at a fraction of the price. Enjoy !
