“Great food, snooty management”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

The food is great...but they aren't the most hospitable. I believe that you always make the customer feel welcome. They will refuse to seat you if ONE person in your party is not there yet. I understand why, but still don't feel like it's very hospitable.

“Not the Mexican We Were Expecting!!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Upon entering this restaruant we knew we weren't in a regular Mexican style place. This is set up as family style eatery. My husband and I both had the special of beef, I can't recall what it was called but on my gosh it tasted great. Presented on the plate like a 5 star restaurant and served with a smile from our waiter Matt, it was so delicious the meat was tender and spiced perfectly. It wasn't typical Mexican style you get so many other places with plenty of re-fried beans and rice, you eat this and you don't miss the other stuff. The price was right too, there were several groups in the place all having a grand time eating and laughing. We will be back to this eatery!!

“the ONLY mexican”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

i don't know much about "real" mexican...but i do have a "picture"
very good dishes
i took the crab cakes. not Maine style, but mexican style, very good , very fresh
then i went for a dish with shrimp. (forgot the name) very good too.
not a tone of cheese, you could taste the freshness.
this is not a burn your guts mexican food...it's fresh, full of flavor.

a few minus though, the "decor" is very 90's but clean.
avoid regular lunch time...place is small, food is very good...place is crowded, by upper middle class people.
do not try the desserts, they have no interest.
