“Nice 'Zza”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

This is another neighborhood option for us. Our server was very nice and did his best to make us feel welcome and add to our evening. The pizza was great. The only downside was that this place was a bit noisy. Other than that, a very nice evening!

“Pizza Pizza everywhere....just dig in”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

We were told by my son's friend that Flippers had the best brick oven pizza. We went to Flippers, St. Petersburg. We walk into a self seating. Our waitress Samnath N was friendly, smiling, had excellent customer service and was right there with refilling glasses of soda and tea without asking and making sure we were taken care of. We started with the Italian cheese bread, what bread...it was gone gone gone. We then ordered a bacon double cheeseburger pizza, a 17 inch pizza, neapolitan crust (thin) leftovers here. We ordered the triple pepperoni pizza, 12 inch, traditional crust (thicker) just enough for one, no take home here. I had the antipasto salad, lettuce was fresh as were vegs, meat and cheese were rolled up, had a italian vinaigrette dressing, yummmmm ate the whole thing. If you are looking for a great pizza place to spend time with family and friends, come to Flippers, you will not be disappointed, we weren't. Their ingredients are all fresh, no frozen dough here. Their menu includes flatbreads, fresh salads, pizza, brick fired sandwiches and penne pastas. They also have a kids menu, lunch and dinner specials. Also if you are having a party, they cater, do delivery and take out. The price was normal for 4 people. Oh one more thing, one in our party at a local beer, St. Pete Wheat, try it, it was great and it was happy hour/2 for one. As we left, I told the employees, we will be back. Enjoy.

“Good for a chain....”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

THis is a chain that makes an OK pizza and has some other food items as well. You have to buy a whole pizza, but there is a personal size suitable for one person. THe ingredients and choices are good, and it is one step up from Dominoes. THe restuarant is pleasant as are the wait staff. Each pie is made fresh, to order. It is open failrly late. They do serve beer and wine.

“Just Chain Pizza in disguise”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

We went to Flippers for the first time yesterday. We will not be going back. The food was absolutely terrible. The pizza was just not good. The crust was soft and had some sort of gritty corn meal all over the bottom. The sauce had a bland out of the can taste and the cheese was tasteless. Overall a terrible pizza. We also ordered a meatball sub, first of all this the smallest sub I have ever seen, it came on a large hotdog bun. The subs overall size was 7inches, it was just tiny. They used the same sauce as they used on the pizza with three tiny meatballs that were basically round hamburgers. It reminded me of something you would get in a School lunch. They should be embarrassed. They have a fancy decorated store with lots of corporate buzzwords about the quality of the food, but nothing they do lives up to it.

“So good!”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Flippers is fantastic. Management is friendly, staff is well-trained, and food is wonderful. I love the Tuscan Chopped Salad- and the pizza is so good! I'm glad they've come to St Pete and I definitely plan on frequenting. They also have really good Happy Hour and Late Night specials
