We happened upon this hotel when searching for a place to stay near Tropicana Field. The staff is very friendly and the best part was traveling back in time for 1930s music Friday evening in the Tap Room. Our room was really spacious with a kitchen. Everything is extremely clean and neat and very affordable, too. The Tap Room is an added plus with great music and great food. I have Celiac so I can't eat gluten and there were many options for me including a delicious duck special. The Hollander is close to downtown cafes, bars, and shopping, too I will definitely stay there again.

The Hollander Hotel was just like it shows on the internet page. First impressions were just great and the look from the 30's was excellent .The rooms were very clean and neat. The entire staff were very hospitable and ready with any request. We had both breakfast and lunch there and the meals were plentiful and good tasting. We went there for 3 Milwaukee Brewer baseball games and the hotel supplied a ride to and from the stadium free of charge. We would definitely stay again. It is a MUST stay at a BOUTIQUE HOTEL. For craft beer lovers they have 21 different beers on tap.

Room Tip: I found no room to be bad from what I could see. Ask at front desk because they are very helpful and...

We stayed at the hotel last weekend for my sisters birthday. Will was super accommodating and allowed us to bring our dog, and made sure we were comfortable and happy. He was very flexible, informative and pleasant! The hotel is close to everything, and if you don't want to walk, they offer a free ride downtown to enjoy St. Pete's amazing nightlife. The breakfast brunch on Sunday was delicious and affordable. Best place we've stayed in St. Pete in a long time!

From the beginning to the end this little hotel is a winner. We were in town for the Red Sox and stayed at the HH. The service was impeccable, from the hotel front desk, the restaurant staff and the girl that drives the golf carts and delivers everyone to the ballpark. The food in the restaurant was very good, we had three meals there. Listening to all the employees describe the Hotel you really get the sense that everyone there loves their job and wanted to make our stay there memorable, they succeeded.

We needed a local hotel for several days while our house was being tented for termites. On a whim, we chose the Hollander Hotel, which advertises itself as a "boutique hotel". The short story is that we had a blast there! If you're looking for a bland, cookie-cutter national chain, this isn't for you. If, however, you're looking for a friendly, warm, clean, delightful place to stay that is close to downtown St. Petersburg, the Hollander fits the bill. Clean rooms, absolutely stellar pub food and craft beer (and on Wednesday night they had a special with a killer burger, crisp waffle fries and a craft beer for $8!), and a friendly, unique atmosphere all helped make our stay memorable. The staff was very accommodating, and the evening entertainment was first rate. In addition to the pub food, they have a very extensive dessert and coffee bar - and the desserts were to die for. :) All in all, not a single thing with which to find fault, and lots to stuff to praise. We'll be back, for sure!

Room Tip: It's an old building, so if you're concerned about folks tromping about at night, ask for a...

From start to finish the staff was incredible. The desk clerk was very informative. He told us about their free shuttle to Tropicana Field, their excellent restaurant and helped us bring our luggage up to the room. We found the room spotless and the bed was so comfortable that we both ended up napping. The hotel is an homage to the art deco era, very beautiful. The tap room has over 20 craft beers, reasonable prices and one of the most efficient and friendly staff that I have ever encountered. We checked out on a Saturday morning but stayed for their fantastic breakfast buffet with an omelet station, a hot food station and a cold station with homemade muffins and fresh fruit. They also have a make your own Bloody Mary station that included freshly made mixers and just about every ingredient that you could imagine to put in it. The bartender offered to shake mine for me which impressed me quite a bit as I find that it's the small things that make a restaurant stand out. Every member of the staff treated us as if we were their own table, another impressive note. Loved this place and would recommend it to anyone.

We try to go to the Hollander on Wednesday nights for their hamburger/beer special. The restaurant is warm and cozy with just the right amount of quirkiness for the downtown area. Whenever we have guests or family visiting, we take them straight to the Hollander for their hamburger fix. It's juicy, tender and comes with great tasting fries. Best deal in town and not to be missed.

Room Tip: Did not stay at the hotel.
