Terrible service, the ladies at the front desk took it so personal after explaining a problem. They kept saying it's not MY fault, and that's true but your at the front desk and your representing this hotel. The problem was check in was at 3pm which is already pretty late however after arriving back at the hotel at 5:30PM, the room was an absolute mess! We were followed into the room by the cleaning staff who asked us to but our bags in the closet and give them time to clean it-.- This actually happened. Regardless, after all that nonsense was cleared up at around 6PM I was finally able to get in my room. The manager, who I had to find myself, even though the ladies at the front finally agreed to leave a note for him, did let me check out at 1 instead of 11. I left at 11:30. Rooms were clean, old, with small TVs but my room did have a semi cold fridge and the shower water was pretty hot which is rare in hotels, hotel was in an awesome spot, walkable distance to almost anything good.

An older hotel, remodeled some years ago in an attempt to convert it to a boutique hotel (i.e., funky, but cute). Lots of tourists, especially foreign. No room service. No parking. Price isn't bad for downtown St. Pete. Front desk staff pleasant, Would probably stay there again.

Room Tip: Noisy at night from street, if you like to keep the windows open. Rooms quite small but adequate. No...

Room size good, but not decorated. No place to put luggage. No pictures on wall, No rug on floor. Tiny TV. No curtains. Bathroom - no place to put toiletries. No pool. No patios to sit on. Very few amenities. Parking is ridiculous. You are on your own.

hey say location is everything....but it's not. Granted, walking around the harbor and the shops on Beach Blvd was nice. But the hotel room was poorly outfitted: no alarm clock, night stand on only one side of the bed, reading lamp on only one side, no comfortable lounge chair, very small TV that did not even carry ESPN. There's no on site parking, so you have to pay a parking garage. No restaurant, just a bar with food. Next time I'll pay more and get a more comfortable room and more ammenities.

Before I go into my rant, I must say that the General Manager was nice enough to refund us for the night we did not stay.
We planned a vacation to get away from the cold and snow. We always figure if the hotel room is small, outdated, or whatnot we are only just sleeping there. Well, here we couldn't even get a full night's sleep. The walls were so thin, we could hear people loudly walking through the halls at all hours. The icing on the cake though, was the "boys" in the room next to us. Door slamming, yelling, and door pounding prompted us to check out a day early. The housekeepers were pleasant and greeted us, but whenever we walked into the lobby we were never greeted by the front desk staff. They were always on the computer and never looked up.The price was right, and the location was excellent, but not worth it.

stay here for the great location and the Ceviche tapas restaurant but be prepared for old, outdated, broken and dirty. no breakfast avail weekdays. limited amenities. parking down the street for $12. imagine it can be noisy but luckily we had a fairly quiet stay.

Room Tip: ask for a 6th floor (top) with a view of the bay. my 3d floor room faced building accross the street...

Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, cleanliness, delightful staff including housekeeping. Location is terrific, décor tasteful, bed very comfy, excellent shower and bath, terrific proximity to city life and culture. We really enjoyed Ceviche, adjoining restaurant and charming bar, so much that we returned twice! The downstairs lounge on Saturday night is not to be missed after 11:00 when Javier starts with Sombras Flamencas. It was not our first time there and definitely won't be our last! Enjoyed the Saturday market just across the street, lovely park, water/boat views. Charm everywhere.
