Went here for Thai. They also serve sushi and hibachi. I assume those that like this place is because of the sushi. I ordered beef red curry and it came out so spicy hot that I couldn't eat it. It singed all of my taste buds. Our server didn't speak English so when I asked for water I never got it. Thank goodness that I had white rice to munch on. It too forever to get our bill we had to ask another server. And I tried to explain that my dish was too hot to eat but I guess it got lost in translation. Will not be going back

This was just about the worst sushi experience I've had in a long time. The rolls were small and the prices were high. When I complained the manager wouldn't talk to me, didn't seem to care. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Right as you walk in there is a weird smell that makes you think this place isn’t clean but as your look around the tables and floor were clean. The service was extremely slow. I waited over 10 minutes for the waitress to come take my drink order. At that time I knew I was in for it so I placed my order for 2 sushi rolls before the lunch rush was about to hit. There was only a few people in the restaurant at the time that I arrived and they had already either had their food or placed their orders. I then waited another 50 minutes to get my rolls. By this time I was late getting back to work and all the tables around me were too. Everyone was asked for the food in a to-go box. I had to take mine in a to-go box as well. There was only 1 waitress on the floor and the hostess had to bring out drink orders, food and cash people out. They really needed more help on the floor and at the sushi bar.

Now, I love sushi and probably have it about twice a week and I have never waited this long. I have been in way more packed sushi places on lunch and always was in and out within 40 mins. Your probably also thinking why didn’t you just walk out when you first got a whiff of the bad odor… well, I couldn’t because I had bought a Restaurant.com coupon and didn’t want to waste $10 but not wasting the $10 coupon actually cost my $14.30 of bad food. Then, I realized that yesterday I bought a Groupon for this same place. I immediately wrote Groupon and asked for a refund for my Groupon to this sushi place and told them about my experience. On top of it all I was able to get a few bites in while waiting for my check and it was so bad. I then ate a few more bites at my work desk and had to throw out the rest because I thought I may get sick from eating their sushi. The taste was bad and I just kept thinking maybe this had something to do with the smell. I played it safe and throw out the rest and wasted my money 

Please take my advice and do not go. Hiro’s sushi is way better and it is on the same street just down about 15 blocks on 4th.
I do feel like I am still going to puke….
I wish I would have read the reviews before going.

We go here at least once a month and always sit at cooking tables. They treat us great and always give special attention to our 5 yearold. Our 5 year old loves to hear we are going to eat @ Chef Peter's ( the owner ). My wife and friends sometimes get the sushi and love it. I always order from the grill and leave with leftovers and no complaints. Pricing in general is okay as these type of restaurants tend to be pricey. We often use coupons from various sources though. Bottom line great staff / owner, good food and fair pricing.

It was a while back but I ate at the sushi bar and saw a little cockroach running around- then looked at the remodeled gauge in the sushi cs and noticed it was in the 60 degree range- they always have their back door open to the restaurant- very turned off
