Booked a two night stay through Priceline. After we checked out we noticed our digital camera was missing. We were going to use it the first day we were there but we chose not to get sand in it as its a nice fuji s9000 camera (over $1k new). We contacted the hotel the second we couldnt locate it after checking out. They were unable to find it but we are 100% sure the camera never left the room. The only thing they told me to do was to contact the police...

Again the hotel is nice but remember to use the safe!

We stayed at the Tradewinds. What a great resort! It is giant property with endless ameneties. Great for families. They are very attentive to your children. If you come with children, stay in the Breckenridge. If you do not have children, stay in the single rooms overlooking the lagoon. It is much quieter. The beach is excellent. Stay away from the dolphin excursion. It isn't worth the money. They drop you off at "Shell Island" which is just the Don Cesar hotel. You can walk there! The dolphins we saw were all in the bay at Madeira beach. You didn't need to leave the bay to see them. Try one of the local tours instead. It is cheaper and you will probably get more for your money. Great hotel, though. Beautiful sunsets. Can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: If you ahve children, stay in the Breckinridge building. If you want quiet, stay in a room overlooking the lagoon.

We went to the Tradewinds for a conference and stayed an extra six nights. The hotel is lovely, the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: A balcony Gulf Suite view room cannot be beat

This St. Pete beach resort is full of activities and excitement to please any one on a family vacation or having a wedding or at a business meeting. The hotel is a total resort with great rooms, restaurants, bars, pools, beach activity and just a total package of fun. This is one resort that should not be missed.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the beach.
