We've been going for years and the quality never changes. The locals know this as an authentic Florida restaurant. Their breakfasts and lunches (we recently enjoyed both) are great. Eat inside, or in an outside courtyard, some of which is shaded. Going early is a good idea. Breakfasts are excellent (eggs, hot cakes, potatoes--all good), but the grilled fish sandwich for lunch shouldn't be missed, either. Go as you are--no need to dress up. The food comes pretty quickly, too. Parking is available, but limited. There is some free street parking, but bring a few quarters in case you have to feed the meter. The restaurant is on the right on the corner of Pass A Grille Way and 8th Avenue if you're coming from the Don Cesar Hotel almost to the end and across from a small pier for the Shell Key shuttle. Technically, the Sea Horse does breakfast and lunch, the Side Door at the Seahorse (next door) does dinner.
