“Wish we could have stayed longer!”

We stayed at Gulf Tides Inn for five days and absolutely loved it. Having always stayed in large chain hotels, our time at Gulf Tides has permanently changed our thinking and planning for future vacations. Dave was absolutely pleasant and very accommodating. The large (and relaxing) pool made the inn have a very small community feel. We will be staying for two weeks next summer without question.

We stayed at the Gulf Tides Inn for a week and it was wonderful. The owner Dave and his family are so sweet and really want your family to have a good time. The pool is steps from your door and the beach is a block away. The rooms were very clean and well kept. We recommend Pass a Grill beach and the Shell Key Island snorkeling. It needs to be mentioned that the best part of staying here is the people from all parts of the world that you meet. It is the unofficial code of the place that you are pleasant to new travelers and share local hotspots. The friends we made while staying here were amazing and we will never forget them. Travelers: stay here and get to know people. Say hello to your neighbors and cheers to a wonderful vacation spot with the backdrop of the setting sun.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed by Dave with friendly recommendations and settled in to our clean and charming room, the beach was within walking distance and already want to plan our next visit. We highly recommend the Gulf Tides Inn!

We had an efficiency apartment for 7 nights beginning Labor Day weekend. The Inn is a great place to stay at a very affordable price. Our room, which included a kitchenette, was very clean and well kept as was the rest of the facility. The pool was great and there's a very nice gas grill available. You use it and then clean it when your done. They have a laundry facility, too. Dave the proprietor is very cordial and though there's no daily linen service or room cleaning, he was very prompt responding to our request for some clean towels. For the price we didn't expect those daily services. Upham Beach is a nearby public beach that is also nice and clean. Plenty of dining choices and Dave can recommend some good ones if you ask. We were happy with a little place called The Reef that's right next store. In a nutshell, if you are looking for an affordable place to stay in St. Pete's Beach we recommend this place. Needless to stay we plan on going back.

My husband and I stayed at the Gulf Tides Inn over Memorial Day weekend and it was wonderful! We had found Gulf Tides Inn on trip advisor and was really impressed with all of the great reviews. Here's one more great review for Gulf Tides!

We stayed in an efficiency, which for the two of us was perfect. The room was clean, clearly well taken care of and having a full kitchen was really handy! The pool was wonderful! We grilled dinner a few nights and ate dinner poolside. Gulf Tides is a small, low key place and a great value for the money.

Dave, the owner, was extremely helpful when it came to recommendations for places to eat and places to visit.

It's a quick walk to Upham Beach, about a block and a half. Very nice beach, and even on Memorial Day weekend, not crowded at all!

We booked our first stay at Gulf Tides Inn based on reviews on Trip Advisor. We loved the motel and our efficiency room. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were also great. The two-minute walk to the beach is along a quiet street with very little traffic

My wife & I spent a week at The Gulf Tides Inn over Memorial Day weekend. Our room was very clean & comfortable. All the rooms are only steps from the pool & you are less than 2 blocks from the beach which you can take beach chairs from The Gulf Tides Inn and setup your spot for a day on the beach. All rooms have patio tables right outside your front door & a Webber gas grill is available for your use. A coin laundry is available on site. Several very good restaurants are a short walk away. (Dave's Dockside, Chill, Snapper's) Now let me mention the owner of The Gulf Tides Inn, Dave, he is a great guy & a wealth of knowledge on the local area. Dave would give us recommendations of things to do or restaurants to try and he hit with everyone of them. A lot of the clientele return year after year and we can see why. If your looking for a small (only 10 rooms) clean & comfortable place to stay on St. Pete Beach you have to try The Gulf Tides Inn. Thanks for a great stay Dave!
