Description: The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.

“Choose another of the resort's restaurants”

We visited several of Tradewind's restaurants, and the Flying Bridge was the poorest of them. So I would suggest visiting one of the others.

The food was great and the prices were average. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed eating outside near the beach.

“Friendly Flying Bridge”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

Service was very good. Cheese fries were great. Chips and Salsa were also good but not much included. Great for a poolside snack but not somewhere you would make a special trip for dinner.

“Good lunch at the Tradewinds”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

We went early (11:15 so there was no wait) and sat outside. Our server was prompt, helpful, & friendly. I had the veggie wrap with hummus, husband had fish tacos, mom had the cobb salad and we loved everything. Their fries are exellent! My mojito was not strong but very tasty.
