Description: The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.

One of the best seafood restaurants on the Tradewinds resort. Tasty food served by good staff. Service can be a bit slow at times.

We ate here 3 times during our stay - close to the beach and one of the pools. You can eat outside or inside. Good food but a little on the expensive side. Good gyros and chicken wraps.

the flying bridge was closed for refurb, we had their make do BBQ that included hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. The burger was way over cooked and the chicken was under cooked so much my wife worried she'd get sick..

We stopped here for a nibble in between lunch and dinner, they have solid bar food and a nice view. The service was great, and the beers were icy cold. What more could you ask for?

The paddle boat trail went under the restaurant and we smelled the grilled food. Hunger pains pounded as we paddle back toward the landing and we knew we could not wait much longer. The game was on so the boys were occupied while the princess ordered umbrella drinks and soaked up the view. I love the indoor / outdoor casual fish house ... nothing fancy but everything fresh and delicious!
