Fresh Fish Cooked to perfection -- my wife ordered the Almond flaked fried Grouper while I had the Baked Grouper; both were excellent and fresh. I would expect nothing less at St. Petes Beach --although this was closer to Pass a Grille. My wife's Almond grouper was a standout --fried without a hint of greasiness. Her side dish of black beans was large; more than she could eat. And the salads were the best with sunflower seeds, parma cheese, grape tomatoes and crispy greens. Clearly the kitchen was at the top of its game and I was jealous but had nothing to complain with equally well prepared baked grouper. The waitress explained that the $24 entree was 10 oz. of fish while the "catch of the day" sandwich was six ounces of fish at about $16. At the end the waitress offered us their Key Lime Pie, which we passed on. We saw examples of it, and they looked like substantial and tasty deserts, but maybe next time! The decor is somewhat rustic which is great given the relaxed dining in the "Key West" atmosphere of St. Pete Beach/Pass a Grille. We were given a choice of eating outdoors (which has misting fans) but we passed it was 330 PM and still hot. Great views anyway from where we ate.
