Fresh Fish Cooked to perfection -- my wife ordered the Almond flaked fried Grouper while I had the Baked Grouper; both were excellent and fresh. I would expect nothing less at St. Petes Beach --although this was closer to Pass a Grille. My wife's Almond grouper was a standout --fried without a hint of greasiness. Her side dish of black beans was large; more than she could eat. And the salads were the best with sunflower seeds, parma cheese, grape tomatoes and crispy greens. Clearly the kitchen was at the top of its game and I was jealous but had nothing to complain with equally well prepared baked grouper. The waitress explained that the $24 entree was 10 oz. of fish while the "catch of the day" sandwich was six ounces of fish at about $16. At the end the waitress offered us their Key Lime Pie, which we passed on. We saw examples of it, and they looked like substantial and tasty deserts, but maybe next time! The decor is somewhat rustic which is great given the relaxed dining in the "Key West" atmosphere of St. Pete Beach/Pass a Grille. We were given a choice of eating outdoors (which has misting fans) but we passed it was 330 PM and still hot. Great views anyway from where we ate.

After several average meals out and about in St Petes we finally found good seafood and better cocktails. Great service, homely environment and decent price.

What a great experience, we sat outside by the water and watched the boats as we had our dinner. The server was very punctual and gave fantastic recommendations. I had the fresh grouper, blackened with the key lime butter sauce - it was amazing! We shared the fish dip which was recommended by a friend and it was very tasty as well. Their house dressing is a sun dried tomato vinaigrette; a must try! My husband had the seafood jambalaya and it too was amazing with flavor, packed full of fresh seafood.
Even though the mango butter is very good, save your bread for the fish! Just off the dock there are hundreds of catfish that come to the surface to be fed; its quite amusing to watch.
I must say, we got desert to go and it wasn't that great. They definitely know what they're doing when it comes to fresh flavorful dinners but need a little work in the sweets department.

We love coming here. The seafood is always good, and the servers have always been friendly. Service is sometimes a little slow, but the place is always full. The staff is always on the move.To me, that says something. I'm willing to wait a bit for good food. There's even a great view of the inter coastal waterway. Great place. Love it.

Stopped for lunch by boat with friends from out of town. The server was very attentive with a great personality. He was helpful and quick. The grouper sandwich was wonderful! The lobster roll was also a big hit. The owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. The food is a little pricey for lunch, but well worth it as the food is great. Also has a great view being on the water. The seafood boil is also great! Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.
