Description: Fetishes Fine Dining is a long established, fine dining destination that has achieved international recognition for its excellent cuisine and award winning wine list during 17 years in the same location. Enjoy an intimate dining experience, with candlelight and white linen, in an 8 table dining room. Fetishes has received accolades from such notable publications as Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines, as well as travel related sites such as Trip Advisor and Zagat. For the past 10 years we have also received Wine Spectator magazines' award of excellence for our extensive wine list, offering multiple vintages of many domestic and imported selections. Fetishes is supported by the upscale hotels on our beach as their first option for off premises fine dining for the discerning clientele that they serve. It is the perfect spot for your special night out. Food allergy friendly (please mention when you make your reservation) Reservations preferred. Casual attire welcomed. Most of our guests will be dressed as "business casual".

Fetishes did not thrill us at all. Overly bright interior, wasn't warm and friendly at all. Fine dining sitting in a booth was quite uncomfortable. Straight back booths and small for 4 people. Extremely disappointed with food, escargot was served with no toast points, and main course of Chateaubriand was charred on the outside overcooked for medium request. Veggies served on the side overcooked and limp as well. Restaurant touts an extensive wine list, mostly domestic hard pressed to find a good Merlot from Australia or even Chile.

The service is good or shall we say Bruce was his female hostess/wait staff was less than friendly. Bruce's attention to tableside service is excellent however, it doesn't make up for the poor food. I have no problems paying gratituity but if you're going to tell me what to pay in tip that's ALL you shall receive.

There are far better places in this price range to enjoy with better food.

We attend a conference in St. Pete Beach every January. Fine dining restaurants (without going into St. Petersburg or Tampa) are far and few between. We discovered Fetishes around 10 years ago and haven't looked elsewhere since. Bruce is an incredibly nice and knowledgeable host. The food is among the best you'll find anywhere (and I mean on the planet!). Entrees come with a house salad and fresh-backed rolls. Once the salad is cleared and before the entrees arrive, you are treated to a raspberry sorbet to clear the palate. The crab cakes entree (often available as an appetizer) are THE best I've had anywhere. Indeed, it's hard to even order them anywhere else because nothing measures up. Desserts are superb, especially the Key Lime Parfait. And the wine list is outstanding and very reasonably priced, covering a wide range of wine types. Indeed, Fetishes has been recognized as an outstanding restaurant by WINE SPECTATOR magazine, and has received many other well-deserved accolades. Although pricey, it's well worth a visit for a truly memorable experience. In late 2012, they moved to a new location, just north of where they were previously located, and they have done a great job in totally renovating their new space.

From the service through to the food - excellent. Our appetisers were delicious - as were the crab cakes and the filet mignon was cooked exactly as asked for (very rare) and was incredibly tender. I was worried that the wine list might be too expensive but there were several more modestly priced selections and our montepulciano was perfect. A really enjoyable evening - a treat for the taste buds! Would thoroughly recommend for a special occasion.

We had first visited Fetishes in there prior location and had a great dinner a year prior. Now in their new location, with ample parking and quiet neighbors, we enjoyed their new roomy digs. As expected the food was wonderful, the wine was top notch and the service impeccable. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the bar located behind the dining, but plan on doing so the next visit.

There is nothing not to like about Fetishes! The food is some of the best I've ever had anywhere! The staff is attentive to a fault. I can't recommend this place more. You will not be disappointed.
