“Good seafood in a casual setting”
Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

We had a nice meal here. Started with some fresh Appalachian oysters, followed by scallops, grouper, mahi mahi and crab legs. Everyone got exactly what they wanted and it was all very good.

“good for a quick lunch”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

We wanted some really good oysters, but they were just fair, but I have to say they had the best coleslaw. Lots of fried choices, felt like just another place we could go to at home, nothing special about it.

“One of our favorite casual places in St. Pete Beach”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

We found PJ's the last time we were in St. Pete Beach, and it quickly became our favorite lunch spot. On this trip, we had two lunches at PJs...their crab chowder is incredible...best fish soup anywhere. The lunch specials are a great value--great portions at a great cost. We sat outside on the "patio"--doesn't have much ambience but we northerners like to be outside when in FL. Our servers were great--very accommodating. If you are looking for a good food at a good price, PJ's is great.

“OK place for seafood”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

PJs is an institution on St. Pete Beach. I dined there recently again and my impression is that they have decreased their portions and raised their prices slightly since the recession made life so hard for everyone. Still, the food is decent and the prices are still pretty reasonable for the beach. The place is not for a special occasion but for a routine family meal, OK.

“Eat, drink and be merry”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

PJ’s is located in a central area of St Pete Beach, an easy walk from the many condos and holiday rentals in the area. If you are looking for a slow meal with white table cloths and white glove service, this is not the place. However, if you are looking for good food, cold beers and nice wine, at reasonable prices in a less casual environment, you have arrived!
My bride and I really like this place. The service is prompt and professional. They make an awesome grouper sandwich; the oysters are perfectly slurp-able; the snow crabs were fresh, perfectly presented, and the portions were generous.
All in all, this is a great place to eat drink and be merry, and you won’t need to mortgage the farm to do it.
