We had dinner here at Jackie's for the first time. Pulled pork nachos and filet Diane were absolutely wonderful. The key lime pie is a must as are the cupcakes. Lovely music, too! We will be back for sure!

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, and a scant few miles from St. Pete Beach, I've never been a stranger to Corey Avenue on St. Pete Beach, but Jackie's on Corey Bistro kind of snuck in on us. We joined friends Friday night, friends who have been telling us to get the heck out to Jackie's - and they were SO right. Pinellas County has long been needing a gem of a bistro, with a chef who **knows** what bistro-food loving folks WANT. From the enticing venue itself, replete with friendly and informative wait staff, inventive and ingeniously presented appetizers, to delicious and creative entrees, perfect deserts AND a visit by Chef Jackie herself, to make sure diners are loving their food (and we WERE!). Great smooth jazz and gallery-quality wall art put the perfect "cherry on top" of a great evening. Hallelujah, we have a realy-truly BISTRO on the beach. Visitor to these parts, or residents.... DON'T MISS THIS GEM!!!!

A group of us (5 people) ate a Jackie's on Corey Saturday night for the first time. I cannot say enough positive about the food and the overall dining experience. Our appetizers (Macadamia Nut Crusted Goat Cheese on Watermelon triangles and Calamari) were both wonderful but the Goat Cheese and Watermelon is both unique and delicious. Our Entrees (Chicken Milanese, Filet Diane & Grouper Special) were all delicious and wonderfully prepared. The service was every bit as good as the food! I really cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this meal. As a "local" it is really great to have such an outstanding dining expereince so close to home.

Last evening we had a wonderful dining experience at Jackie's Bistro on Corey Avenue. We had read about this new restaurant in one of the local papers and were eager to visit when we learned it was Chef Jackie's very own venture. It certainly lived up to our expectations and did not disappoint. The food was excellent each and every course( a risotto special with asparagus and sea scallops was outstanding), the service was very attentive and Chef Jackie's personal tableside visits added a perfect touch.

We come to St. Pete Beach each month and most assuredly Jackie's Bistro will be visited each time.

Last evening four of us tried Jackie's for the first time. Charming little place with some interesting art metal wall hangings. We started our evening with 3 Teasers (Appetizers) Stuffed Dates were awesome as where the Pulled Pork Nachos. Don't miss these two! Our least favorite was the Chicken Liver Pate, good but a bit strong tasting for us. Since we pigged out on the Teasers we only ordered two Seductions to share. Son-in-Law was looking forward to trying the "Pork Chop" but was informed that even thought it was still on the menu they where now offering pork tenderloin instead. The pork tenderloin was prepard nicely but not has good as a nicely prepared bone-in chop. Our other entree was the Macadamian Grouper with a mango-tarragon beurre blanc. We choose the Cous-Cous as our starch. I thought the grouper was delightful and enjoyed every bite. Our daughter didn't like the texture of the grouper but she is used to her husbands fresh caught Florida Grouper, which is hard to beat. Hubby chose one of the soup specials, Lobster Bisque, has his entree. He cleaned the bowl and said it was very tasty. Jackie the owner and Chef was out in the dinning room numerous times during our visit. Overall we all enjoyed our evening but thought the menu selections where limited. Since Jackie's has only been open a few months perhaps the selections will expand as they grow. Good Luck Jackie!
