We travel a lot and are away from Florida and St. Pete Beach for months at a time. Coming back to the Wharf is like "coming home" to great food and friends. The menu has a huge selection and we always have to visit often to be sure we get to enjoy all of our favorites.

At the bar, Steamed Shrimp, smoked fish spread, and homemade potato chips are a few of our favorite muchies and we can never leave St. Pete Beach without at least one visit to the Wharf for a true "cheeseburger in paradise"!

Still, the huge selection of sandwiches, wraps, steaks, and seafood always makes the Wharf our first choice when taking the kids or when meeting a group of friends. A few of our dinner favorites are the babyback ribs, the prime rib and the fish selection ordered grilled or lightly blackened.

This time of year there is always a wait in the evenings at the best beach restaurants. At the Wharf, they have an outdoor seafood/oyster bar and live music (when available) and the wait is always worth it!

We've been to the Wharf a few times. The fish sandwiches are very good. The employees are friendly, but we have heard several reports of purses being stolen within the premises. We will probably go elsewhere the next time we dine in St. Pete Beach.

We have eaten at several St. Pete Beach restaurants, but had not eaten at the Wharf before. The waitress was apparently new and came up and looked us over before telling us that she had a table to take care of before she could tend to our orders, At this point, the restaurant did not appear to be that busy. She finally showed up again 20-25 minutes later, got our drink orders and took our meal orders. Brought drinks, excelllent loaf of bread and good salad right away. Then, nothing, until a young man finally brought our plates of fried scallops (me) and fried shrimp (her) about half an hour later. These orders were grossly over-cooked, apparently from spending a long time under a warming light. The lemons served with the seafood appeared to have been thrown away by a local grocer a day or two before. Never again at the Wharf!

I thought the food and service at the Wharf was awesome. The blackened grouper was so good, i came back a few days later and got the same thing (so did my wife). Cheap drinks also, i would definently recommend.
