“A lot of Amenities but costs!”

Celebrated a birthday there for one night with a suite and connecting room for my grandson, and friends, family. The resorts has a lot to offer your children but better bring your wallet every thing is pricy. Our room was ready just before 4:00 which did not give the kids a whole lot of time to use the facilities but thank goodness the manager stepped up and gave us a couple extra hours the next day without charging us that 20.00 per hour fee after 11:00. So at least they were able to go on the slide and use the water park. Rooms are clean and all rooms have kitchen features whether it being a mini fridge or full size. Word of caution if you are bringing the little ones be sure to have them empty out the honor bar for it can get very expensive.. Over all we enjoyed it!

Room Tip: Bottom floor by pool will be our next choice for the kids can enjoy it all.. No balconies in any of...

Brilliant what a place !! Sadly we only stayed there for 5 nights @ the end of our stay in the States. All the staff were always smiling & happy to chat & make sure all was ok , the beach was spotless , cabanas plentiful & the sand soooo soft !!
We were upgraded free of charge & had a wonderful view of the gulf . The rooms were immaculate & cleaned 2 a very high standard , everything about the place left a gr8 impression on you .
We have stayed @ some good beach resorts as far away as Dubai & the Maldives & around the Greek Islands & this is up there with them all . We ate in the Rum Fish grill 1 night & found it good & on a par price wise with the other restaurants in the area .
If you were looking to find minor faults - the pool bar area was crowded & 2 small for a busy hotel , also I hope the vocalist doesn't give up his day job , quit whilst you're behind fella !!! Oh sorry this is you're day job ! Seriously son u were shocking .
Overall this is a cracking resort in a fantastic area & is run by staff who genuinely enjoy their job , keep it up we will be back but for longer next time .

Stayed a week at guy harvey and was very impressed. The biggest issue of my stay was with noisy neighbors the first night. I spoke with the manager the next morning not expecting much, but she was so attentive on solving the issue. She finally relocated us to another part of the building and because of her , made our trip memorable. I think her name was leni,

Just returned from a three day, two night stay at the Guy Harvey with my husband and 7 yr old Grandson. Wanted to stay at the Island Grand, but all the rooms were booked. We arrived early (1:30) with checkin time being 4 pm. Not only did we get a room, but we were upgraded to a gulf side suite!! Awesome, customer service at the front desk for doing this!
Being able to share all the pools and amenities at the Island Grand made for a nice vacation with many options. We tried out 4 of the 7 pools and enjoyed them all! My grandson loved the paddle boats at the IG and the surf board rider at the Guy Harvey! (all included in the price)
The high slide on the beach was too intimidating for him to try this time and a little too intimidating for his 60 yr old Nana with an injured knee! But, maybe next time he said!!

The entire staff at Guy Harvey Outpost was exceptional. Each member we encountered was extremely accommodating and made our stay carefree and relaxing. We were treated with respect and everyone went out of their way to serve our needs and meet our requests. The food was excellent and the pool bar is well stocked. There was live entertainment by the family pool everyday, sometimes twice a day. There are plenty of activities and entertainment for children. The beach is beautiful and well kept. Housekeeping is thorough and there are extra towels in the rooms. The maintenance staff is out cleaning the pool areas by 6 am each morning and the place is kept immaculate. It was our first time staying at the Guy Harvey Outpost and did not know what to expect. Much to our surprise and delight, they offer more than we could have imagined. Several restaurants to choose from, including those at the TradeWinds (just a block away). It was a perfect vacation location and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Room Tip: First floor, gulf view suite. You will have access via sliding doors to your own patio, table and f...

Usually stay at the Tradewinds but wanted to try the Guy Harvey Outpost this trip. Have made many changes all to the good here. The beach area has transformed the most. Cabanas and seating areas with fire pits is the first thing I noticed. Very comfortable and the staff is accommodating. The pool bar is staffed with great bartenders and the food is fairly good. Servers are quick and efficient. Victor is are bartender. He is from the Boston area and is a riot. Love his hat and Boston accent. Told him don't ever loose the hat. It's his brand!!!! I love characters an Victor is definitely a character. The view is best at sunset and this place is family oriented. Kids are having a ball at the pool and plenty for them to do. Overall I give this a 8 out of 10. Make sure you try the Rum fish restaurant. The aquarium is worth your time and the meals is not bad at all.
