My wife and I just spent 4 days at our family reunion at the Tradewinds Guy Harvey Outpost. We've been there several times -- and each time we found the staff to be very friendly and exceptionally accomodating. The facilities are clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The food is excellent, although a touch high-priced. But the high-light of each stay is the staff. They make you feel welcome and happy to be on holiday or vacation.

The resort was clean and met all our expectations. What makes Guy Harvey unique is the exceptional quality off their employees. Extraordinarily friendly and helpful, they made every effort to make us feel welcome. Wide variety of restaurants, pools and activities. Guests have full use of their main resort Tradewinds, a short walk down the beach. Five stars to Guy Harvey!

Room Tip: Gulf view suite above the 2nd floor.

The hotel is nice enough...maybe not for the price though. I'm sitting in a 40/night room that is larger with a larger bed right now and it is cleaner. Close to beach/food. Bar was convenient. Kids were in the adult pool every day. Channels don't show when you are changing them on the tv. Over all it was ok...but I was not overly impressed. Rooms were tiny. No room for luggage. Advertises koi pond. There is a small pond, died greenish/blue. No koi. A lot of loud music but what was worse was that we were near a maintenance closet or something because we heard constant banging starting early and sometimes later on it sounded like someone was trying to open our door but there was no one at our door.

We stayed at Guy Harvey Oct 10 thru Oct 14. It is an older facility, but seemed to be well kept. We were surprised at the size of the room which was very small for 2 beds. It had a mini fridge, sink, and microwave and a flat screen TV with Direct TV. Stocked up the fridge at the Publix down the street to cut down on food and drink costs. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless.

Prices at the Grill are high for what they offer. The club sandwich will feed two people for lunch and be sure to order the homemade potato chips. They are served hot and delicious!

Staff was friendly. We did have one night when it got really loud in the room next door and called down to the front desk. The only response was that they would drop the resort fee for that day.

The beach and cabanas are nice and really enjoyed the adult pool! Sting Rays were out in force at the beach, but not a problem as long as you don't step on one. Just do the Sting Ray Shuffle when you are going in and out of the ocean.

Parking is crowded in the garage and somewhat hard to maneuver around corners.

It was OK for a sort stay, but probably wouldn't choose it again.

Excellent location! Wonderful stay. Everyone was super sweet! Shout out to Justis, our teriffic bellman, for the outstanding tour! Thanks to him we knew all the fun things to do during our stay. Enjoyed the gulf and pool view from our room, complimentary beach cabana, and the tidy room. Love the hammocks, Hope to be back soon!
